  2. This is a now three owner car. In 1972 the first owner puchased it new in Sacramento, California and had it for over 46 years. The second owner in Ohio had it for 3.5 years and I purchased it from him. Per BMW Archives is the following: "The BMW 2002 US VIN 2583798 was manufactured on June 22nd, 1972 and delivered on June 27th, 1972 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Sahara, paint code 006." Optional equipment included on the car at time of purchase (for a total MSRP of $4,048.90) was as follows; Skai Upholstery Heatable rear window and tinted glass Lower reclining front seat Tachometer instead of clock Michelin XAS Radial Tires (one of the originals is allegedly the spare) Torsion bar stabilizers At my purchase the odometer shows 15,152. Actual mileage is unknown. The second Owner put only approx. 850 miles on the car in 3.5 years. The car is all original with no modifications except for the following; The driver side fender was replaced / painted at one time The engine compartment was painted black by the first owner and returned to Sahara by the second owner A radio was installed into the console and the shift knob changed Tires and normal wear / tear items of course

  4. I bought the car from the fourth owner in 2015. It had been stored in a barn for around 10 years where it had suffered severe mouse damage. It has a factory sunroof, matching numbers and all of the early 1600 details. Aside from the mirrors, 12v conversion, and a vinyl cap on top of the back seat (and of course, expendable replacement parts), it's original, intact and rust-free. All of the big flaws have been ironed out and it's been undergoing a moderate, slow-motion restoration. It runs well and required little mechanical attention.

  6. My former tii was a Frankenstein. It had been hit many times, lots of body parts replaced, along with rust and copious amounts of bondo. Instead of throwing money at it to fix it, I decided a fresh start was necessary. I traded my 85 Euro spec E28 525e for a 74 tii shell. The polaris paint was totally shot on the E28 and it was a eta car so no big loss. Before everything was transferred over from my Frankenstin tii into the shell, the Euro bumper conversion was done, US spec side marker lights were deleted and then the tii was repainted into its original color, Sahara. I had known about this tii shell for years in Palos Verdes, CA, the previous owner decided to do a M20 conversion on the tii but gave up on the M20 project before any mods were done under the hood. I bought the original motor for the tii from the owner seven years earlier but also came across 2762096 motor about the same time. I decided to have Jack Fahuna rebuild the earlier tii motor (rebuilt to Euro tii specs, 9:5.1 comp ratio). Jerry Fairchild rebuilt the injection pump at the same time. The original tii # matching block for my car was found in the back of Jack Fahuna's shop 20 plus years after it was pulled out of the engine bay. Jack has rebuilt this motor to Euro tii specs. My tii was reunited with the original factory engine (matching VINs between chassis and motor) in Fall of 2022 Here are the restomod upgrades to this tii. -5 speed -LSD -E21 Recaro's -Eibach springs -Bilstein sports -ST swaybars -Polyurethane bushings. -Momo Alpina, or E21 sport steering wheel, I swap them frequently -15X7 ET25 Amil 10 spoke wheels with summer performance Yoko tires or MSW 15X7 ET26 basketweaves all season Hankook 195/50-15 tires. -Crack free one piece Euro spec dash (no fasten seat belt billboard) that I scored at an automotive flea market in Ludwigshafen Germany and mailed back. The hole for the tii clock was carefully cut out. -Euro turn signals (scored at same automotive flea market) -Silicon Garage 3 core radiator -Cibie H4 lights -E30 map light mirror My first 02 was a 75 Euro spec Sahara 1802 that I had while in the Air Force stationed in Germany in the early 80's. I wanted my tii to look like my first 02 (except for the 13" wheels). Having owned a Euro spec 02, I love the Euro bumper look and I like square tail light 02's. Now to find a 220 kph cross hair speedo to complete the Euro look. Last pic is of my former 1802 that was taken in July 81, Winnweiler Germany. G-Man

  7. From BMW Group Archives: “The BMW 2002 tii US VIN 2760173 was manufactured on December 17th, 1971 and delivered on December 29th, 1971 to the BMW dealer Bovensiepen in Buchloe. The original colour was Verona, paint code 024.” Legal delivery to BMW dealer Bovensiepen in Buchloe, Germany (a.k.a., Alpina) on December 29, 1971. Thus, this car was shipped from the factory to Alpina’s shop in Buchloe, Germany. Although Alpina components were added to various ‘02’s during the ‘02 era, the surviving population of cars known to be shipped from the factory to Alpina and modified in Alpina’s shop is quite small. The portion of those cars modified in Alpina’s shop that were also U.S.-spec and U.S.-bound is likely tiny. Thus, this is a rare example, fully-documented. The Alpina pedigree has been further confirmed by Alpina. Separately, this is also an early U.S.-spec tii, the 173rd U.S.-spec tii manufactured. But the story gets even more interesting. The chassis was separated from its original engine and transmission by recent owners — owners who were unaware of the rare Alpina pedigree — but has now been reunited, by the current owner, with the original engine (stock tii), 5-speed close-ratio transmission (235/5), and Alpina sway bars. The car is currently undergoing a full restoration and re-paint in its original Verona, as illustrated in the photos below. The original engine block, also shown below and stamped with the 2760173 engine number, was cast November 19, 1971 (“19L” within oval frame and “71” outside the oval frame). 8. Original owners. Quite possibly the longest owned Tii in the USA, if not the world. Bought new from Weatherford BMW Saturday February 5th 1972 in Berkeley California. The BMW 2002 tii US VIN 2760007 was manufactured on October 20th, 1971 and delivered on November 8th, 1971 to Hoffman Motors. The original colour was Colorado, paint code 002. My parents purchased the car Saturday February 5th 1972 at Weatherford BMW in Berkeley California. While this all happened before I was born in November 1974, I know the story of how my parents came to be interested in BMWs and how they happened to purchase this Tii well... My parents actually met in German class in junior college in the fall of ‘64, so they had an interest in many things German since then. Dad was an avid reader of car magazines, and as the magazine road test articles on the Neue Klasse BMWs and 1800Tis came out, Dad had an interest in BMW’s practicality mixed with its sporting sedan image. He even stopped by a BMW dealer in Albuquerque NM on his way home from Army training in Huntsville AL in ‘66 looking at the Neue Klasse sedans they had. While he couldn’t afford one yet, he had a desire to once he could. That desire grew as the Army saw his language skills and electronics experience from junior college and sent him to Germany to work on NIKE missile equipment maintenance rather than waste his talents in Viet Nam. Mom even got to go live with him off base and after an apartment or two here and there they found a room for rent in the upstairs of an old family farmhouse just outside of Mainz. Dad has many stories to tell of all the cool cars they saw while there in Germany, including then brand new 2002s and 2002ti’s, and watching races at nearby Mainz Finthen Airfield, and the ‘68 German Grand Prix at the Nurbürgring. An Army buddy of his even had a new ‘68 Mustang GTA 390. One Monday morning that friend came to my dad to tell him of going to the Nurbürgring and getting to drive the track. Knowing my dad was a knowledgeable car guy the friend asked him what the heck a BMW 1600ti was, as one had blown passed his Mustang on a corner exit and down the straight like he was standing still. Dad explained what it was and they both had a laugh at how a little German sedan could be so fast. My parents couldn’t afford much in the way of a cool car while they were in Germany, but did get a ‘64 VW Beetle that did the job of getting Dad to work at the various NIKE missile sites around the area, and to explore Germany with Mom on the weekends. Dad likes to tell the tale of transforming the handling of the Beetle with a set of Koni shocks and Dunlop radial tires he purchased at a department store. After Germany, my parents came home to the Berkeley area to find that a neighbor at the end of their Court had purchased a silver ‘68 2002. Being a dead end street, they would hear the neighbor drive by every day. After a couple different jobs and some more college at Hayward State, building up a ‘65 Corvette with Grandpa that they had gotten from a tow yard sans engine, Dad got a job with Pacific Telephone and Telegraph and was building up his and Mom’s savings. In late ‘71 early ‘72 they were interested in a more practical and new car to replace the Corvette and add to the garage next to the Beetle. Dad had a few cars on his want list, and on one occasion while car shopping he stopped by the local Plymouth dealer and asked if they could order him a four door Valiant with a 340 and a four speed. They said they could get him that combo in a Duster, but not in the four door. Dad said no thanks, he’d rather have a sedan. Good thing then, because they wouldn’t’ve gotten the Tii and definitely wouldn’t’ve joined the BMWCCA in early ‘75... Anyway, Mom, Dad and my sister Gwen (she was a few months over three years old, but remembers it well, she’s a car girl after all, and remembers such events as well as anyone) were out car shopping on Saturday February 5th 1972 and went into the BMW dealer in Berkeley looking to purchase a Bavaria but happened to find one of the very first few 2002tiis in the US in the showroom floor. Now Dad had a Road&Track subscription and had just read about the 2002tii in the October ‘71 issue, so was pleasantly surprised to see one in the dealer so soon. So, $5300 and change later, they bought that 2002tii and Mom and my sister took the bus down to the dealer that Monday to pick the car up. Decades of enjoyment and joining the BMWCCA later, my parents still own and enjoy their Tii. This Tii was delivered to Weatherford Friday February 4th 1972 with 250 some odd miles on the odometer, Shelby Cal500 Slot Mag wheels, an Ansa Sport exhaust, AMCO bumper bars front and rear, and NO anti sway bars, none. We suspect it was a dealer transfer, and possibly used for either a demonstrator car, used in California emissions testing, or possibly the display Tii at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January. If anyone knows of someone who MAY have photos of the BMWs on display at that LA Auto Show, please message me here through the FAQ! Decades of enjoyment and joining the BMWCCA later, my parents still own and enjoy their Tii...

  10. The BMW 2002 tii US VIN 2762344 was manufactured on July 28th, 1972 and delivered on August 28th, 1972 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Sahara, paint code 006. I bought the car in June, and had it shipped from CA to SC in July 2018. No history was included with the car other than knowing the previous owner (David). He gave me the name of the people he bought the car from. David was a mechanic who knows BMWs, and had worked on the car for the previous owners for years. At one point, I guess they got tired of fixing the car, and sold it to David. He named it "Fritz VonFlustercluck" based on the frequency of repairs. David owned it for three years and turned it into a reliable daily driver. I've decided to keep the name "Fritz" ? When I bought it, the carpet was trashed and much of the interior was in a box in the trunk, but in relatively good shape. I believe there was an electrical issue he was chasing. Initially, the turn signals were not working, but I worked that out. Inside, I added an Esty Carpet kit, Recaro seats, a Nardi Wood steering wheel, VDO Gauges and a few new interior trim bits. The worst part of the car was the paint. It was absolutely and totally dead. I wet sanded and buffed the paint, which came out great. A week later, it had died off again. I found that there were two separate Malaga paint jobs over top of the original Sahara paint. When I sanded through the top-most paint job into the paint below, that layer would hold a shine. I spent quite a bit of time sanding and polishing, and so far so good, but I have a long way to go. This car was definitely loved at one point in its life. While cleaning the car up, I found H4 headlights, LSD, Bilstein HD shocks, Suspension Techniques 21mm front and 19mm rear bars with urethane bushings, ST lowering springs, Momo steering wheel dated 1996 along with a matching Momo shift knob. There is a pretty old Golden Gate Chapter BMW CCA sticker in the passenger side rear window. I added Rota RB 15" wheels when I first got the car, then in July 2019, I found a set of Campagnolo Bertone (Ragno) wheels, which are now on the car. I currently have six BMWs, and daily drive a 650i. Every time I look at this car I smile, and I make any excuse possible to take it out for a drive. The 650 is a great car, but it just doesn't have that "something something" the tii has, that brings a smile to your face and makes you "one with the car". I added a Bluetooth amplifier so I could play music from my phone while driving. I think I've played it a total of five minutes because I'd rather just soak in the sound of the car and my surroundings. Music takes away from the experience. From what I've found thus far, previous owners are: Unknown BMW CCA Member - prior to 1998 - Grass Valley, CA Andy Chittum - 1998-2002 San Jose, CA Unknown owner - 2002-? - Fresno, CA Peter & Janet Meserve - ~2012- ~2015 - Coarsegold, CA David McLanahan - ~2015-2018 - Coarsegold, CA to Yerington, NV Tim

  11. My first car, formerly Sahara with tobacco interior. Car has been fully M20 swapped with 323 5 speed and 3.91 LSD. Carpet and custom length console by @esty , Cup holder inserts by @koogleworks and parts support by @BLUNT She is sitting at 5200 in the 2 years after the swap - 3200 of which was a road trip from Texas to Athens GA, then Jacksonville FL, and back to TX when she had only been driven 300 miles post swap. She and has yet to leave me stranded (knock on wood for me after typing this) If you are thinking about doing the swap, it is ALOT of work, but the pay off is more than worth it, even on a tii. 14. 1974 BMW 2002tii US 2780988 was manufactured 11 January 1974, and delivered shortly thereafter through Hoffman Motors. The vehicle’s window sticker shows Port of Entry Baltimore and delivery to Leith Lincoln-Mercury in Greensboro, NC. BMW Group Archives indicate its original color was Polaris Metallic. The original owner moved the car to Florida, where it remained through a series of later owners. One of those previous owners changed to color to red. I purchased 2780988 in July 2012 and moved it back to North Carolina. Our 2016 re-paint maintained the red theme by selecting BMW Verona.

  20. Supposedly, this car was originally owned by a doctor in Marin County, CA who kept it hidden from his wife by storing it away from his house. After he died, the spouse found it and sold it to someone who caused some body damage and they sold it to another person in Scottsdale , AZ. I purchased it from a Craigslist ad on Super Bowl Sunday 2012. The above listed "last sold" date is the date I titled the car in VA. Three pictures from the AZ Craigslist ad

Legal delivery to: BMW of North America (Montvale, NJ) on April 26, 1976 Port of Entry: Elizabeth, NJ Delivering dealer: Dick Horrigan Volkswagen, 1211 Lancaster Avenue, Reading, PA Initial delivery: July 30, 1976 The car arrived at the dealer in June 1976 ( probably 6 to 8 weeks after its manufacturing date): I know I looked at the car more than a month before I purchased it. I purchased the car new on July 30, 1976. As of January 15, 2019, I still own the car. This was not part of a plan! The first photo below, taken in February 1977, is the earliest photo of the car I’ve been able to locate. It was taken at my parents’ home in Wyomissing, PA. At the time, it was still wearing its Pennsylvania Bicentennial (1976-only) license plate, all of which were retired by the state in February and March 1977. The car has snow tires on the rear in this photo and there is a small whip antenna for my CB radio. Cool? Or what? Steve

  28. My 1971 BMW 1600 Voll Cabriolet was imported from Belgium to California in 2004. I purchased the car from Laurens Manders of http://www.euroclassics.nl after seeing it on his website. The car had gone through a extensive restoration while in Europe, but was missing its original 1600 motor. The replacement motor was from a BMW 2000 Nue Klasse, but it spun a bearing soon after arriving in the US. I spent several years completely restoring the drivetrain, suspension and brake systems. It now features a 245 Getrag OD 5 speed, 2 liter high compression motor, 284 Cam, Weber 45 DCOE carb with Lynx manifold, shorty header, 123 Ignition Bluetooth distributor, front shock tower brace, 320i rear brakes, 320i LSD, Bilstein HD Shocks and Struts, ST Sway Bars and ST Sport Springs. I sold it last year to Stephen Knaup, and he sold it to Chris Reinhardt in Roslyn, New York. Chris is taking it to a higher level with some tasteful interior modifications.

  36. Meet Asterix, my 'keeper' 1975 Mintgrün 2002! This is actually my 3rd 2002, I had a rust-bucket '76 in college as my 'learner' car and a brief stint with a rough '74 with some racing aspirations, but both were sold to acquire this rust-free '75 as my 'forever' 2002! Though I don't drive him daily (I now need the E39 with working A/C for chaperoning the two kids in car seats around most days), I built Asterix with the intent of making him the most useable, just-hop-in-and-have-fun-driving-for-any-occasion 2002 that I could. Much of this goal spawns from having the '76 911 project car with my dad in high school. While that care was an absolute blast to drive, it was much more temperamental, more difficult to keep road worthy (and repair roadside), and all in all just harder to relax and enjoy driving because of its quirks. For this reason, I actually prefer 2002s to their contemporary 911s and especially with (easier and cheaper) modifications, I'm never nervous that Asterix will leave me stranded. And even when he does have occasional hiccups while out and about, I'm supremely confident that I can always find a way with limited tools to get him back home again. So on to the details! Engine: I rebuilt original engine in 2012 with the following mild/street upgrades: - IE 9.5:1 pistons - IE 284 reground cam - Single row timing chain - New oil pump - 228mm clutch - Supersprint 'Tri-Y' header, Supersprint resonator, and Ansa exhaust - E30 starter Induction: I've run almost every conceivable induction system on this 2002s, except for the stock Solex carb. My progression has included Weber 32/36 and 38/38 downdrafts, dual DCOM 40 sidedrafts, a singe DCOE 40 sidedraft w/Lynx manifold, and finally culminated in EFI with Megasquirt 2 (the current setup) using a 318i manifold and Ford EDIS injection. You can find my full Megasquirt writeup in the FAQ Article section here: https://www.bmw2002faq.com/articles.html/technical-articles/engine-and-drivetrain/megasquirt-efi-and-edis-for-the-bmw-2002-part-1-r287/ I absolutely LOVE Megasquirt setup and am very happy with how I paired it with the 318 manifold and the 284 cam. It starts immediately no matter the temperature, a smooth idle, and a wonderful, fat, flat torque curve. I pride myself in the clean installation that I've accomplished and while a never ending quest for perfection, the tuning is fun and dialed in very nicely now. While it my green manifold probably isn't to everyone's liking and it would be fair to call it a bit garish, I don't care, it's my car, I like it, and I'm keeping it! Drivetrain: I was fortunate enough to inherit both a Getrag 240 5-speed and a 3.91 LSD from the previous owner, both in fine shape. These are two of my favorite upgrades for 2002s. Though they are both getting pricey these days, the LSD is basically necessary for controlling the rear end on any slippery surface and whenever really putting some power down in a corner. And anymore I think blasting down the interstate would be all but unbearable without the overdrive. Suspension/Brakes: I found Bilstein Sport shocks to be way, way to firm for my liking, so I run Bilstein HD shocks together with H&R sport springs, all finished off with Ireland Engineer's wonderful stabilizer bars. While I went with the larger 320 rear wheel cylinders, my brakes are otherwise stock. I find the stock setup to be quite capable, and rarely have any issues with fade even when playing around on mountain roads or autocross events. One day I might want vented rotors, but I'm not really in a hurry. Body/Exterior: When I acquired the car, the original Jade had already be (poorly) painted over with a vulgar non-BMW metallic red. It was actually a pretty color, but had no business being on a 2002, especially over top of a green. So when I had the engine out, I went ahead and stripped it down and had it repainted (base/clear) in my favorite factory 2002 color: Mintgrün! In addition I've also completed the following tweaks to the exterior: - Removed the US side markers - Original beat up aluminum beltline trim replaced with much less expensive 3M chrome strips. - Additional Hella high center LED brake light - LED replacement bulbs in all corner lights - Cibie H4 headlights - Hella 500 driving lights also wired for dual-functionality as daytime running lights - I've retained the chunky 12MPH bumpers because, frankly, they work! They don't look the best, but when I'm out have the car parked somewhere, I like knowing the extra bit of protection they afford. - 14" Panasport wheels with 185/60/14 Bridestones Interior: I went through the process of removing the original sound deadening material, sealing the floors with POR15, and putting down some FatMat material. I also put in new carpets, but they're already a bit worn and at the time I did not know about Esty's carpets and intend to one day replace them again with one of her wonderful sets. The front seats are cheap Japanese knock-offs of Recaros, but they look fine and are quite comfortable, so I'm quite happy with them. The rear seat is stock, though I have recently added 3-point shoulder belts from Bluedevils now that I have kids who may ride back there from time to time. Up front I've done some more fun stuff with the dashboard. I have added a VDO oil pressure gauge in the small pocket to the left of the instrument cluster, I have little LED bargraphs for voltage and AFR now built into the 'Fasten Seatbelts' pod in the middle of the dash, and my pride and joy is my center console, which includes cup holders and a small Android tablet that I use for music and Megasquirt tuning via Shadowdash! It's all finished off with a 3-spoke 320is sport steering wheel Electrical: This is where I've probably put in the most time on the car. I always seem to be going back and doing more 'tweaking' of the electrical system in the pursuit of making everything as clean, tidy, and functional as possible, and let me tell you it has taken a LOT of wiring! I like to use high quality connections and have decided Weatherpak and Deutsch connectors are my go-to brands, and I always solder everything. No crappy crimps, splices, wire taps for me, thank you! The main list of electrical upgrades now on the car include: - Megasquirt EFI - Wideband O2 sensor (for Megasquirt feedback/tuning) - EDIS wasted spark ignition (controlled by Megasquirt) - Electric cooling fan (controlled by Megasquirt) - 80 amp 320i alternator - 2x Odyssey P680 AGM batteries under the back seat (run to a nice junction box in the factory battery location in the engine bay) - Master disconnect in the trunk - Cibie H4 headlights (from Daniel Stern) - Hella 500 driving lights (wired in series to function as daytime running lights normally, and then switch to parallel/full brightness when the high beams come on for driving light use) - High center Hella 3rd brake light (from Daniel Stern) - LED bulbs in all 4 exterior corner locations and instrumentation lighting - Built-in Android tablet and small amp for music, navigation, and Megasquirt tuning (see above) - LED bargraphs in the fasten seat belt dash pod to indicate battery voltage and exhaust AFR - Probably the biggest project, redoing the relay block to add in extra relays and fuses for all of the above Megasquirt, lighting, and cooling fan upgrades. Took three iterations but I'm finally calling this one done: So that's it, my car Asterix in a nutshell, I hope you can get as much joy out of your 2002 as he has given me! -Carl

  39. Purchased the car from the widow of the previous owner, my friend Allen, who passed away far too young from cancer. The car had spent nearly three years in a body shop, being cured of tin worm and getting fresh Malaga paint. Allen was starting to reassemble it when he succumbed. At that point, I wasn't even aware he was building a 2002. But a mutual friend, who knew of my love of 2002s, contacted me and set up the chance for me to acquire this one. I will be forever grateful to Sean Grubb, my pal in Tulsa. I bought the car as a rolling chassis, with only drivetrain and brakes in place. I have spent more than a year trying to complete the build the way Allen had planned. That includes tii struts, big brakes, billies & IE springs, big swaybars, a 5-speed, euro bumpers, and a conversion to EFI. Part of the fun of putting the car back together was figuring out the modifications along the way, since very little was left in the way of written documentation of the build. Fortunately, Allen DID leave a large cache of the parts needed to complete all these modifications. With any luck, the car should be running very soon.

  40. My First BMW: BMW 2002tii 2761282 (Chamonix) was manufactured on March 27th, 1972 and delivered on the same day to JBS in Frankfurt/Main (a military sales contractor). I purchased the car in Karlsruhe from its original owner in May 1973 for $3650, and brought it back to the US in 1975. Probably because of this non-standard delivery, 2761282 is not recognized in many of the online VIN indexes (e.g. RealOEM. com), but the manufacture and initial delivery have been confirmed by BMW Group Archive. In 1976, I traded 2002tii 2761282 for the purchase of a used 1975 Datsun 280Z ($2600 trade-in value), and have regretted that decision for a long time. The 2002tii was last seen at Platte Avenue Datsun in Colorado Springs, where it was quickly scooped up by persons unknown. The most positive outcome of the trade-in was that it facilitated my long-term relationship with 1976 BMW airhead motorcycle R75/6 4946226, which still resides in my garage. John

  41. Purchased new by my father, Lee Hoovler, in April 1971 from Universal Motor Sales, Butler, Pa. The original door sticker indicates month of manufacture of Dec. 1970, but the BMW Archives report a build date of Nov. 30--the factory must have run out of November stickers a day early. It was sold to Roy Hopkins, a former student of my dad's, in 1984. It attended a few track days during Roy's ownership. My dad bought it back in 1997, and gave it to me in 2002, a few months before he passed away. I have been its caretaker since. The car has a 5-speed conversion; H&R springs and Bilstein HDs, 22mm front and 19mm rear sway bars, 2000CS 14" wheels and a 123Tune distributor. I have replaced rubber bits and other wear parts as needed. It had a partial repaint in 2002 following a rear-end collision. Otherwise, the car is essentially stock and original at 151,000 miles as of 2018.

  44. California car in my wife's family since ~1976 and was a daily driver for her cousin until he passed away. Car was suffering from oil leaks, bad clutch and surface rust, but super dry underneath and pulled really strong. It had been painted primer gray due to failing paint. Car was tired and mostly original except for H&R Springs and Bilsteins. The motor and drivetrain were sorted and now onto paint and cosmetics, trying to work from the inside out but recently added some wheels, seats and sport wheel. "Not pretty to look at but she'll get you where you want to go"
