Got my rear subframe components back from blasting/paint earlier this week.

went with the same gloss black epoxy paint as the front of the car.

 

started the assembly today, going pretty smooth so far. New wheel bearings and seals, all new hardware for that yellow-zinc bling

of course, poly bushings for everything 🪨

Painting the lug nuts black might not have been the most brilliant idea I've come up with.  I knew the paint would chip off the lug nets when I torqued them up.  Turned out acceptable for now.  Love these wheels and fresh tires.  6x13 ET28 with 185/70 13's fits perfect and tucks under the fenders good.  The Thrasher is happy 🙂

Well, didn't really do anything on the car today, but I did email Ireland about the pistons I ordered in February.  They coincidentally arrived and were shipped out today.  So in a couple days... no more excuses.  I'll have to get back in the garage.
