Completed my rear brakes project except for the bleeding.  That RR beotch spring lived up to its name but eventually succumb to my rather bizarre but effected clamp/wood/screwdriver method 🤣  Gotta use what you have sometimes.

Took apart the entire window mechanism as my window was hard to close and the winder would click three times before reaching its max closed position. I found some brainiac had greased both channels and the grease had hardened to make the travel very compromised. Cleaned and reassembled everything, only slightly better and still clicking. And the window won't stay in its highest position (slides down slowly about an inch). Ponied up for a NOS winder and will install when it arrives, hopefully in time for The Vintage.

Installed the rebuilt drive shaft this weekend. New guibo too. Had to raise the tranny with two washers under the rubber mount, above the tranny support. Also had to lower the center bearing by one washer each side to get close to perfect alignment at the guibo. Hmmm. Surprised it took this much, given it’s an original car and this is the first drive shaft.

Oil change + filter. New valve cover gasket. Test drive amongst start of Fall proved it’s good to go. Next on the list:

- radiator upgrade (original in the car and she runs warm on the freeway)

- sort out the blinker gremlins4A6CC6CE-0EF4-4C0F-9A48-C48910C93E3A.thumb.jpeg.574d905eae4856c360999e2e612fa975.jpeg

What sort of radiator upgrade are you considering?

Primered the rear tail light housing, then painted the outward facing part white.

Then repainted the back patio table for my better half. "I didn't spend the whole day working  on the 2002..."

My Dad had one of those on his boat. Leaving a knife next to it made for an interesting trip one day.
