Trying to determine in my mind if the absence of the tamper resistant bolt makes it less likely to be stolen.

What do people use after they remove the fracture bolts in the ignition? It is part number 32322782105, but NLA. My understanding is that it is a security measure. Considering just using an appropriate length bolt in its place. Thanks, Dennis fracture bolts.pdf

Looking good! I can relate to "...when I took it apart...". I bought a project, realized I was in over my head, so I sold the main components and bought a relatively sorted 72 2002...and immediately proceeded to start taking things apart. Think I am going to limit myself to stuff I can get done in the next few days. Treat it like a daily driver. Dennis

I have a 72 2002 and replaced the standard brake booster w. a Tii brake booster. The master cylinder is the standard master cylinder. Installing new brake lines with an IE cunifer set. Reviewed RealOEM for both Tii and 2002 for a 72 and the attachment points are different from the repair manual. 1. Can the attachment points #1 and #3 be switched? 2. Can the attachment points #4 and #5 be switched? Diagrams look like #1-#3 are one circuit, and #4-#5 are a separate circuit and thus can be switched within their respective groups. Stupid question of the day. What is the hole with the arrow on the front of the carb for? I have an airbox custom made by the previous owner that I am going to switch to Corsavelocita adjustable velocity stack air filters. Reason I ask is that the airbox I have now filters any air going into that orifice. With the velocity stack filters, that hole remains unfiltered. Do I need a filter of some sort over this? Guessing no as it is uncovered in the advert for the product but wanted to verify.
