Which part are you trying to remove, exactly?

Here’s a skeleton shot.

@leucadian , billet mount a nice touch, looks great.

I want to remove the attachment / swivel gizmo circled in red.  I assume that the "nub" can pass thru the clamp after the screw is removed with some gentle force w/out screwing up the visor itself?

I have a tendency to pull fully forward in parking lots so as to be less likely to get run into. Today of course,  I cracked and scrapped some pant off the front cowling on a high curb.

Trusty spray paint to the rescue, any paint down there is temporary in my book.

Tracked down a coolant leak, ran the motor up to operating temp, jacked it up and waited for small coolant drip, found it at beneath the Gas Pedal, pulled the carpet pack and disassembled the AC Console to see the heater box. The leak was at the top of the box, I went to the passenger side wiper and found that the Heater Valve shaft leaked under pressure when opened

Valve out found a broken seal

I recently purchased a Wiechers  strut brace From Wallothnesch but it came in bright red. That didn’t match the OEM look I wanted. Since I had some Chamonix left over I painted it before installing. I doubt I’ll ever drive this 1600 hard enough for it to make a difference but I thought the added reinforcement couldn’t hurt.

Working on the air cleaner mod. What is correct color for a 1970 car?  I think this unit is from a later model car but it was an orphan and I had to save it. at least the color will be right.

Got Franzi's engine /subframe out, need to get the 121 Ti head off and checked out to see if it can go on (after overhaul) the short block I have ready.

If not,  will have to use an overhauled E21 2.0 head I have here with no fuel pump pad.

The Max Jax was awesome to have when dropping the engine.

And I'm freakin out because I have to leave Survivor out in the rain for a few days till I get stuff torn down and sorted😳

Replaced the clutch master cylinder.  Had a little rust so had to wire brush both the inside and outside of the peddle box, prime and paint.  Easy job and being a first time it took be about 3 hours, not including the wait time for painting.  The challenge was getting the bolts reattached as my helper (wife) was not around. Thanks to @Mike Self for his article as it proved very helpful!!
