  1. an absolute crime just like window tint + chrome bumpers. Totally inexcusable. Go sit in the corner.
  2. wow OP, i admire the shit out of your commitment to getting these! I totally understand that subconscious "must have at any cost" thing you have been through. Congratulations!
  3. try to NEVER let the sun hit the dash. get a dashmat for driving and a sunshade that goes around to the side windows as well.
  4. Guys I think he just wants opinions. Hey Gary I think religion is bad for humanity and that football sucks.
  5. Shall I or someone add the additional parts needed for swapping an automatic car, being that it's a popular way to go for many people because of the larger trans tunnels of factory auto cars? - Clutch master cylinder + pedal box - 2-outlet fluid reservoir - Carb jetting + rebuild parts - Shifter console + gaiter etc.
  6. anything from 350-390 is a-ok in my car, on 165's
  7. Can a manual choke knob be bought to install in place of the blank knob next to the instrument cluster (to match the other 3 knobs)?
  8. getting a good boss kit is difficult, if you can find a genuine Momo boss and use an adaptor, that would be the way to go.
  9. Hopefully it got turned into something worthwhile, like a Kia or Daewoo
  10. assuming the horn button you have is genuine, you need one of these to center it tightly in the hub http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MOMO-Horn-Button-Retainer-Ring-/230957009480?hash=item35c61c4a48
  11. I'm very interested in it. I think the standard indicator cancelling tabs are too narrow, at least in my experience, as I have to over-straighten the wheel to cancel the indicator.
  12. do you mean that they would be drilled for 6x70mm and 6x74mm simultaneously? would they have a built-in indicator cancelling tab and horn contact?
  13. Not really, I've never owned an Australian car to know any different! Most service items are still a reasonable price.
  14. I actually believe the antenna to be one of the Hirschmann 'jewel tip' aerials, but can't find decent photos of the mast of them.
  15. Ha, someone went to a lot of trouble to import a Bavaria badge for it! E3's were all called 2500/2800's here, and we didn't get many. My whole car is a tarted up "dealer special" including the simple sunroof and vinyl covering, a neat stereo install that is very period correct, plus the aerial on the right side A-pillar. This is the best pic I have showing the roof clearly. BMW 2002 by Jace Bird, on Flickr
  16. Because tint + chrome is a terrible combination that has never looked good.
