They look great - did you paint them yourself? What tires did you put on them? just picked up a set.

Thanks! I like how oem these look.
I didn’t paint these myself but have painted wheels, and steelies, before. It’s pretty easy.
these I bought used and had been painted. They’re in great shape.
Tires are Falken Azenis RT615K in 195/60/14 size. Great, sticky tire.

I motored around 190 miles under a moderate drizzle this morning to see my Mom. Car ran great as usual with the exception of poor traction in the wet. After getting home I noticed my dipstick laying on the work bench *@%#!  Checking the engine bay revealed an oily mess. On Friday, I was charging the battery with the trunk open so I decided to check the oil - never put the dipstick back in. Oh well, it really didn't loose enough oil to even register on the stick but it made a mess.  It's always something.

Complete front suspension work finally back together today, except for final torquing to be done once back on the ground and weighted.  Cleaned up / re-sprayed both wheelwells during the process.  Next up is new wheels bearings, etc...

Not just today, but the weekend.  On Friday we had a visit from @adawil2002 Andrew and Cindy who had driven from Maine to Arkansas, and then up to Wisconsin for Kissel meet.  @Luis and Anne joined us for dinner.

The next day, I turned a simple 2 mile errand into a 35 mile day of cruising.  Amy and I ended up stopping for coffee in the afternoon - it was a perfect day for a drive.

Finally, I have recently joined FuelFed which is a cool European car club that @Luis turned me on to.  The first Coffee and Classics event since I joined was just a few miles from our house today.  Meaning, we had to go despite it being lousy weather.  They tell me the events are pretty well attended, but today there were just a handful of hardy souls willing to come out - including a guy who drove his R60/6 in the rain up from Skokie, IL (about 82 miles).  And I thought we were hardy.

I helped my son do this job on his e30. Absolutely agree. Worst job ever.
Although looks like you did it easier, or with a trick. I didn’t realize you could reassemble it then put the grease in. We greased everything up THEN tried to reassemble them, balls first. Ugh. Hours of entertainment. Not looking forward to doing that again on my 02.
