Thanks. I think you misspelled miscreant ?

No, I'm from NY.

Cheers, and check your high beam switch.

?

LOL....I don’t even see the word “miscreant” in my posts..... I don’t like to use that word because in-pronunciation it sounds to much like “excrement” AND we ALL know what that means...

Thanks for the high beam tip.  When you say this, are you referring to one of the three of what looks to be relays on the DS fore-portion of the ENGINE bay? This o2 has been shelved in my driveway for about 12yrs.  I’m slowly (I’m a newb) going thru the electrical system looking for faults/breaks and disconnections and mostly bad ground points. Ive started my studies of the electrical system with the help of the FAQ / YouTube and the usual suspect sites online.  I have to say for a newb it’s been at times a bit challenging but fortunately I’ve been able to learn the slur of Acronyms, abbreviations and sometimes just made up Lingo on the internet. Now I can sift thru all the high falooting-poli-testicular jargon on most internet sites and actually feel comfortable with the information I’ve gleaned.

So........ lets keep the conversations and interest keen on ALL these sites and in the process build ourselves “ONE KICK ASS” machine or as in my case ‘Mai’ (thats her name) Dream Machine!

Definition of motor  ?

1 : one that imparts motion specifically : prime mover

2 : any of various power units that develop energy or impart motion: such as

a : a small compact engine

b : internal combustion engine especially : a gasoline engine

c : a rotating machine that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy

3 : motor vehicle especially : automobile

Hey Les!!!  Thanks for that encyclopedia reference.....Got any opinions on Butyl tape as a sealant for my fuel tank?

Now that I absolutely know the interpretations of the word “MOTOR” You deflated (in a great way) my Hotsy-Totsyness!  “And now... lets resume our regular programming”.

The temperature got to 50 degrees today so I took the ole girl out for a quick 90 mile sprint through some twisties. I did get a speeding warning from the highway patrol though... wondering why he was back there anyway. I think he gave me a break because of the car.

Went to see how bad the damage was after the PO installed some speakers in otherwise good condition door cards.

What the #$%!

How does one need a 10x6 hole in the sheet metal to install a 5" hole speaker!!

I'm definitely redoing the door cards, and eliminating the speakers.
Now I'm torn:
Do I put lipstick on a pig with $150 in new vinyl to just redo the front and rear cards the right way or just reuse the old vinyl with a flush mount speaker grill since the poor thing is so hacked. 039e66ea523bb869de276782b75c7858.jpg71e32e3df4db08f807d4e71667ae1733.jpg

We decided to not fit a central resonator.. partly because it's easier to fit one later than try to delete one later..

Should be able to start it up for the first time in ~20yrs around New year...still needs much trim and a dash/steering to finish....
