Glass man showed up and installed front and rear with no problems in and out in two hours...couple more days and I’ll be at the finish line.

Don’t let the fear of what could happen

make nothing happen…

@BarneyT  ---Once again, you are my idol!!  I had hoped to do this with my 72, but it was just too overwhelming.  Well done sir!

I think @BarneyT should share his restoration tips as I have lost count of how many car he has transformed.

Too busy I expect!

Made a trans cross member for my Getrag 240 5 speed swap.  It has the dual mount setup and the IE downpipe interferes with one of them.

1/4" flat bar that I bent using the HF "compact" bender (3 foot tall, has to be bolted to the floor, with a 4 foot handle)

All welded up:

I need to notch the brace for exhaust clearance still.  Here's where it needs to fit, you can see the right mount is hitting the exhaust, so it's a tight fit through there.

Chamonix ‘73 tonight -

I was tired of looking that RR wheel opening so I finally did something about it. I used a piece of welding rod to create the lip for the new opening. I clipped the inner well at 1/2” intervals and folded them out to meet the quarter panel and the welding rod. I’m happy.

Got the air dam measured and temporarily held in place until I rivet it.  The upholsterer also came by and dropped off some of the interior.  Very pleased with it.  Had to drop it in quick to see how it looks against Riviera.

disassembled ultrasonic cleaned and reassembled the S14 oil filter Adaptor - this part is so practical that I took it as a shortcut over the period variants

+1

I use the S14 oil filter adapter in most of my race car builds. I usually add JB weld over the clip to make sure it doesn’t pop out (I haven’t had one come out, but others have (learning from their failures)). -KB
