Just finished installing this thing. It wasn't fun, will put up some details in my blog.

3x VDO gauges: Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Water Temp

Panasonic Stereo

3x switches: Aux Fan, A/F Wideband digital gauge (in fasten seatbelt box), Future use (potentially driving lights).

Not sure this counts.....but this is the plan

IMG_3707.JPG

You may want to add a USB power outlet for phones and such, it would fit perfect between your 2 switches

I have completed the shell and mock up of the tail end of the console. I am now waiting on the head unit to  get that sorted but the outlet and additional switches are part of the plan......just not sure where to place them. Still weighing the options.  Appreciate your  input.

Nothing fancy.  Refurbished 1976 Blaupunkt with a new 4x6 speaker.  Sounds fine.  In the second photo you can see the MP3 jack below the speaker.  The Orange button is for manual operation of the radiator cooling fan.

Interesting:  This is a '74 tii.  However, the steering wheel is from a '73 '02 my wife and I drove as our only car for 34 years.  When I drive this one, I'm driving my first one...

The above is a picture of mine before installation.

The radio is modified to accept music from my phone, the clock is from a tii, the right knob has a cigarette symbol on it and used as an auxiliary power source for my phone, while left knob with a headlight symbol is used as a two-pull switch for F/R fog lights.

Vacuum!  No puny gauges here :)

Manifold on the left, Ported on the right.

6-11" Hg = vacuum advance range =12 degrees total

The biggest difference between the two is at idle and deceleration,

(when ported drops to zerO, but manifold pulls full advance)

Otherwise, they both pull about the same.

(distributor connected to ported)

this is a temporary setup

installed for learning purposes

e21 defroster switch is for running lights

ashtray is for spare points and condenser
