  1. jrhone's post in High RPM stumble? was marked as the answer
I think I fixed the problem. Let's mark this one solved. I swapped the weber 38 for another one this morning and all stumbles are gone. I would bet the carb had a lot to do with my breakdown last week as well. No leaks or stumbles now. The swap was a peace of cake. Thanks for the info!!!
  2. jrhone's post in Help! How do I remove the ballast resistor??? was marked as the answer
Solved!  OK...so I did the simple thing...followed the translucent copper wire back until its spliced with the green wire, then put a new wire in...Coil installed, ballast wire removed.

Fixed...sometimes things are super simple. The header bolts were loose. Tightened them up. The noise went away.

OK...took a close look and the belt tension wasn't too bad, but the mounting bolts were loose!  I could wiggle the alt by hand.  So I tightened it all up and give it a tad more tension, I bet this solved it.
