Awful news to hear. Earlier this year Dan was a big help with sourcing parts and knowledge for my 02 build in NZ. Once we could travel again I was looking forward to visiting him in Colorado…

He was the first person who reached out to me when I got my 02A a couple of years ago. I never got to meet him but I loved seeing his posts when he reached out to help so many of us. RIP Dan.

That is truly sad news, another terrible loss due to this damned disease. I bought some rims from Dan, communicated with him on some other parts. A couple times he offered an invitation to visit his shop, my loss I was never able to take him up on it.  Godspeed Dan

Rip Dan. I had a chance to meet him whilst living in Colorado Springs. He took me for a joy ride in his Colorado Orange Tii. Was and is an absolute legend.

Truly sad, another great source of old time knowledge on our little cars gone. FAQ brothers and sisters what ever your doing to prevent this awful disease stay on top of it, your all loved and needed here as well as with your families.
