I'm back into 2002s once again!

After going '02-less for far too long, I've struck a deal on a beautiful '73 Sahara 2002! My E30 will have to be sold, but that's OK; it was fun, but, come on, who do I actually hang around with? Who do I identify with most keenly?  The '02 owners! They told me that I would be back. I wasn't so sure. I thought: "So many BMWs, so little time..." However, ever since Dieter was loaded onto Simon's luxurious trailer in 2013, I have missed being an '02 guy; that indescribable something was missing from my life. So, wish me luck. I need to arrange a trip to Denver ASAP!  Can't wait!!

Gotta love the AC!  That will be really nice.  In fact, maybe I'll ride down to Vintage with you next year, and make Stacy and Sam drive the tii.  Hmm.  

 

Looks like you have 1200 miles ahead of you to get it home.  I70 all the way!

 Me too!  Will be 39 years ago next week!  I first met Jim shortly after he bought Dieter back around 2001 or so--his wife mentioned its purchase in her newspaper column; she was friends with my wife so I called Jim and we've been friends ever since.  

 

I told Jim he'd regret selling Dieter...his new one has a VIN about 1600 higher than mine--probably a Feb or March '73 production date.
