  1. I got them both! There is a third version which I want to get also:
  2. So sad.... Way too many good people from the community have been lost to this terrible disease. Please take care everybody.
  3. Had a great time at the show! Next year I might try to make the 318ti look nice and register it.
  4. Took these two (fuzzy) pics at Korman Autoworks in early 1993. This was a 2002 being built for a Colombian “businessman”, who had flown it in from Colombia. Shortly after it was finished and returned to Colombia rival “businessmen” murdered the owner. This and other cars he owned disappeared, never to be seen again, according to Mr. Korman.
  5. Congratulations, Jason! I am sure it will be beautiful once you are done with it. I used to own 1661508, a US spec car AFAIK, a long time ago. I switched the clutch mechanism to a hydraulic system. I seem to remember that the brake parts were difficult to find even 30 years ago. When I bought it for $400 it had been sitting for a few years due to a busted long neck differential. I found one in the scrap pile of a Porsche repair shop for $40, fixed the brakes and enjoyed it for a few years.
  6. Same here. I have owned many, but only have pics of a few of them.??‍♂️
  7. Andy, you can probably start your own thread!??
  8. Took a short drive last weekend and shot this one in the late afternoon hours.
  9. I’m in the same boat,@joebarthlow. My ‘74 has been sitting in body shop limbo. I bought the ‘73 to get me by, and in those three years I have lost my job, survived a hurricane and was diagnosed with cancer. Not a day passes without thinking of cutting bait on the ‘74 project, but I talk myself out of doing so. To the OP, do what your heart tells you. In my 40+ years playing with these cars I have sold several unfinished projects. Some I still regret doing so, but most I don’t.
  10. Thanks for all you do for the community, Steve!
  11. It ain’t pretty, but for some reason it’s photogenic.??‍♂️
  12. Me and my first one, a 1970 1600, back in 1977.
  13. I love this build! Thanks for the play by play, Ryan. Those widened steelies are awesome.
  14. I have an E21-offset set in my stash. There's a set on eBay right now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-to-1974-bmw-2002-wheels/233550919239?hash=item3660b83647:g:luMAAOSw6qhei1sB
  15. Here in Puerto Rico we can go out only for medical reasons or to buy food and medications from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. There is complete lock down from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. ?
  16. Thanks for your kind words, Dan. I am grateful and honored to be part of the 2002 community. You all have blown my mind with your kindness and generosity. I will find out how the radiotherapy has helped when I get tested in early April. In the meantime, I will get my second of twelve Lupron injection hopefully in a week or so. These will go on for three years total. Next Thursday I will be having an appointment with the cardiologist and expect to get the date for my angioplasty for my other condition, which is a blocked artery in my heart. I will update you all when I have further news. In the meantime, please keep on with your good vibes and prayers. They work! Thank you, Harry
  17. Thank you! It is really a needy 20 footer, but it’s loads of fun. Fog lamps are Hellas with yellow lenses.
  18. Cool! Another '73 Sahara! I own #2533510, born Automatic but currently sporting a four speed manual.
