  1. Some racing shots in Puerto Rico in the '70s and '80s.
  2. Beautiful car! Those interiors are lovely.
  3. I sold the only tii I owned about 30 years ago, so I am definitely not an expert but, isn't that notch too close to the centerline of the car? Thought it went over the distributor.
  4. For the price I would expect much more. I mean. The fact that the trunk looks so bad tells me that all it got was a quick and cheap paint job to make it look nicer. I also agree with the $10K price, and then throw the other $8K at it to make it nice.
  5. That one got wrecked on its way to The Vintage. For the second time.
  6. Went out for an early morning Fathers Day ride and took a couple of pics of my needy Sahara: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yours looks great. I will see how mine looks with the Vogtlands once I take it out on Saturday and they settle in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hope you can make it but, if not, make plans for the first Sunday in August for Salinas Speedway! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’ve seen worse get fixed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Adolfo, is it this one? A friend sent me the photo. It is owned by Manuel Garcia, IIRC. The second picture was taken at one of our drives three years ago.
  11. Aren't the Bilstein Sport shocks the ones that are not available? On a related subject, I installed a set of new HDs and some Vogtland springs on my '73 last Saturday. I got the HDs some time ago from someone with an abandoned project. I used Vogtlands because they were FREE! Haven't tested the car yet, but will do so this weekend. Still need to get some sway bars, because the car does not even have a front one.At any rate, it will feel loads better than with the old blown shocks. The car had Eibach springs up front with stock (one of them broken) springs out back. Go figure.. Anyone with experience with Vogtlands?
  12. Great! Two more for the list! I’ll have to ask Quito about the white car. Thanks for the heads-up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. One advantage of working in the ocean freight business: Adolfo, your car is here! A friend who works at the docks sent me these pics from Crowley in San Juan: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Congratulations on the car AND the wife! Most of us would want ours to be like that.
  15. Excellent design! Your daughter has great talent.
  16. By the way, Adolfo, I love your vanity plate!
  17. Great news!! We have a get-together planned for Saturday 6/15 at Pinones Beach and will be doing some parade laps at the races at Salinas on August 4. Hope you can join us with your 2002!
  18. Well, at least I found a couple of videos that can help: Just in case someone else is looking for information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hi, There was a thread and website a few years ago by a member from Sweden, IIRC, with very detailed photos of his turbo flare installation. Tried to look for them, but the photos no longer exist. I did find some of them at a lower resolution, but my intention is/was to print them out and take them to the guy working on my '74's body. He is an old-school guy and not too internet-oriented. Anyone have them saved, or something similar? I am attaching one of the pics I found. Thanks in advance, Harry
  20. Tried to download the pics so I could take them to the body shop printed in 8 x 10 format, but the resolution is 500 x 375. Does anyone have them saved in higher res? Thanks, Harry
  21. That second pic finally made up my mind about adding turbo flares to my ‘74 and using the H&B staggered wheels I’ve had stashed away for over 10 years. Thanks, Markmac! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
