  1. How can you tell that it's a 73 vs a 72 from the first picture?
  2. It would be GONE in sixty seconds here in the Bay Area…..
  3. Perhaps a letter to the editor would be warranted with some (for lack of a better word) constructive criticism.. and perhaps…. Hip them to "Turn your Hymnals"…..
  4. Nice looking 74. How can someone substantiate 34K miles…..I guess a very thorough PPI could maybe..
  5. Stunning. Except for that exhaust.
  6. I am going to guess 2001 as that logo is on the tee shirt I got at the 02 Fest in SLO that year.
  7. Totally agree. I see some hypocrisy here, as I'm sure a lot of people that have replied have had a few cocktails while wrenching which can result in worse results than a hit or two.
  8. I may get chastised for this, but if parking on a level surface, I don't engage the brake on any of my vehicles, auto tranny or manual. The tranny holds em in place as they don't roll away in the level garage etc. If parked on a hill the parking brake is always engaged.
  9. Recently retired from Mill Valley Fire Dept……My tii and mountain bike knows the Sleeping Lady very well. Knew a doctor in MV that had the nicest looking fjord tii I've ever seen.
  10. Also make sure that ALL the bolts that hold the "rolling up n down" mechanism are still there. One missing bolt will cause the whole mechanism to shift, thus making it hard to roll up and down.
  11. I'm sorry - looks hokey to me…like someone cut their license plate by an inch or so…I do like the Euro plates, but we're not in Europe.
  12. Cover it when it's sunny and hot, keep it uncovered in the rain. Having said that, you don't need to spend a fortune to keep the sun off your car.
  13. What you must admit is that you're glad you married her. That's something MY wife would say - which is why I'm still crazy about her after thirty something years.
  14. Well, I'm intrigued…..Took me until the 5 minute mark to realize he was saying "coupe" instead of "toupee"…..Sometimes I'm a bit slow. Did notice that the right headlight was out on the 02 however..
  15. A good question….After I installed my (Esty) carpet kit it was too nice to put dirty shoes on, and would put a towel down. Got tired of that quickly, so I had Esty make me matching mats to put yer feets on. Problem solved.
