Cut one turn off front and rear (Ireland stage 1 springs, 2 dot pads at rear)

Drives really nicely. Minor rub with driver  footwell that was solved with science (f=ma ☺️)

2002 euro e46 beater. Installed a new set of real brakes. Hated those single piston turkeys they use nowadays. Oh wait , this 2002 doesn’t belong here

Got the '72 motor up on a Harbor Freight stand yesterday. They wanted $69 for the stand in the store but were out of stock. I got it online shipped to my house for $53 with a coupon I found! Decided to mount the block sideways like others have mention on the FAQ. Seems plenty sturdy and stable.

What method did you use to plug the knee trim holes? I keep meaning to do some research and get this done on my ride.

It‘s a little bit thicker, and the thingie is the „safety eye“

They kept it for a long time - you can see it in some of the 68 pigcheek promo pics and it is still in the 74 pricelist.

Your definition of beater and my definition of beater appear to be rather different.

A few years back all three of our cars were 2002s: a 2002 330i, a 2002 Honda Odyssey, and a 1971 2002...

The seats with the GAHH covers came back from the upholsterer yesterday, and I installed them along with Coco floor mats (I highly recommend both). I’m really proud of how ol’ Betsy is coming along. Thanks for all of your help and advice as I’ve been learning from you all as I go ?

Cheers,

How about we make you feel less guilty about your post. I just picked up an e46 as a stable mate for the 02 (and733i). Couldn't resist the price, and my wife unit gave an Okay. Happy Valentines Day!

I'm actually thinking motor swap for the 7'er. Am I out of control?!?
