I like the air filter! I'm just about to install dual DCOE 40's on my '73. What is the brand / model? Is that a non-tii brake booster?

Started AC install! Going a lot smoother and quicker than expected. Needed to stop since I didn't have a 7/8" hole cutter. 

 

I may take some detailed photos to share as the diagrams in the kit can be hard to follow.

Aardvark provided the door panels.  He sent me the green clips.  They bite in to the door metal when I push them in but barely.  They pop out on their own.  The door originally had clear plastic inserts in the holes.  They are all gone.  I think they helped allow the green clips bite in to the door better.  Do you know if those clear plastic inserts are available?
 
It appears as though the green clips don't push in far enough due to the way the vinyl is wrapped around the door card.  That is all I can deduce.
 
Try pushing harder? Are the clips loose at all in the door panel material?
You may want to razor off a little of the extra vinyl on the backside of the panel? Could try last resort to press down the overlapping areas with some heat to flatten it.

Today I made a little more progress...

 

Painted some bits

 

Designed and printed this TPS adaptor plate in PETG... should be durable enough to withstand this use case no problem. Theoretically, anyways.......

 

Started designing some parts of the intake tube for printing. The IAT will screw into it.

Tried to adjust the rear drum-shoes, but they did not need it. 

Then I bled a little clean clear bubbleless fluid out of the brakes

and then this blackness oozed out of the clutch slave.

That made it all seem worthwhile.

 

I pulled my new battery out to take a photo of the postal damnaged corner

and put the important warranty sticker on the front end, out of sight

As I've probably noted here before, the benefit of custom pistons is they're designed and machined to specification: usage/application, cylinder size, block height, head thickness, combustion chamber volume after head work / valve job, camshaft lift*, etc (*some ignore the camshaft spec - it's why you see disclaimers, or over-size valve pockets). Anyway, to answer your question:

 

Those pistons spec out to 13.4:1 for a big-camshaft, dual sidedraft race engine. -KB
