Show me your garage/work space

This is the only photo I have of my cramped work space, with my current project.  My goal within the next couple years is to find a property in the area with some space (large lot) and either convert a barn or build a shop...

Woah there Otis!

I usually lurk on the FAQ, and being a lady in the 2002 community for over 20+ years, I've seen and heard some ugly things such as your type of disrespectful smut sprawled out through different threads and I feel compelled to post that I find it distasteful in character and highly demeaning to the ladies.

I'm also surprised to see that COOP and one other 72ITB are the only ones who are bothered by this, or at least raised their voice to say that they were.

I'm not "policing" anyone, but let's keep it car related and classy guys ... just know that there are ladies and men on here who may find your "girly car pics" offensive.

Wow, this has gotten out of hand. Everyone should be respectful with their posts and be mindful that some people, of either gender, can and will be offended by off-topic pictures such as those posted above. Furthermore, tearing into someone for their personal style choices is totally out of line.

There are plenty of forums out there where this sort of behavior is standard. Let's not be one of them.

David...FWIW, being one of the FAQ fairer sex members, i don't find your posts distasteful in character nor demeaning

your posts are like a box of cracker jacks...you never know what you'll find at the bottom of the box....and if i may be so bold...you need to update your repertoire of fairer sex pics

To be fair, it looks like you have room for a dozen more motorcycles...   ;)

(The real fun is the tetris reorganization every time you have to shift things around in order to unearth and work on the next project.)  I dream of a dry-cleaners-like conveyor belt that whisks them away to the back room when I'm not wrenching on 'em.

(PS.  Made me smile to see another Daytona lurking on the 02 FAQ. )

Crummy photo found on phone, but helps to enhance the clasutrophobia...

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
