  1. would you consider $120 shipped to 19123? thanks, stone
  2. there is no rubber parts in the door components inside of the door card. the ring you have behind the vent handle should be cone shaped. small end against the handle/knob. that robber thing looks like some bulk head grommet from a different car. stone02
  3. are the injector lines or actual injectors available for sale? please let me know. stone02
  4. do you have an automatic or standard trans? do you need the neutral switch for the shift lever tower on a manual trans or the neutral safety switch for the automatic trans. stone
  5. what you need to do is pattern the actual sliding panel curvature. then reproduce the shape in wood. and push up the edge and first 2" of the roof up slowly. even try a rubber mallet along the edge and the curved corners. this will lift it enough to stretch it just barely. that should do the job. saw it done at a body shop a long time ago. stone
  6. i would like to add my name to the list for two sets. please respond for availability and timing. thanks stone

  9. Hey, been in London for four days. need a break from tourism. want to take a day off and see some RHD 2002's. I am near the Portland tube stop and an Oyster pass to anywhere. might even drag my daughter with me. a few choices would be nice. cheers, as the locals say, stone, from phila pa, USA
  10. that connection goes to the blue vapor hose just above where the return fuel line enters the fire wall. stone
  11. Hi, i did a search but most people just mention a sensor. i would like to read about experience from those who have one installed or run it at the tail pipe. my old option for CO setting as the old manual has is no longer available. i will use it to set up and tune from the tail- pipe and also install a bung on customers cars as needed. thanks stone
  12. Hi, what is a non running turbo selling for. you can let me know thru the forum mail. your problem sounds like the mechanical belt for the pump has failed. i have replaced five of these for tii owners in the last year. 5 cars. the belt is under the upper plastic front cover that is held on by 4 10mm head bolts. turn them out very slowly so as to not break them. spray any kind of penetrate just around them while you are loosening them. the belt is timed to the crankshaft just like a regular tii. you can call me if you would like some over the phone help. 215 five two zero six718 let me know what happens. stone
  13. if you are assembling a carb car the arm is wrong. the arm should be straight from the back side of the alternator to the stud sticking out of the front cover. the two bushings fit into a large diameter hole in the block end. the stud come out from the front cover and appears to be missing in your picture. anti vibration at four points of the alternator make it a better installation. maybe someone can post a picture of a carb car. stone
  14. i have been servicing 2002's as a business since 1989. years ago the cars were so plentiful that i was busy 7 days a week and always had a back log. now that the newest car is 41 years old the work is not so often and mostly long term work. i do not have problems with people paying and in most cases the cars are pleasure cars not daily drivers. i have two DD's left. this has slowly turned into a specialty situation, not a service business. as a hobby it would most likely be the best way to look at it. i also have a day job that i can retire from in 3.5 years with 35 years and full retirement. that is when i am looking forward to rebuilding cars full time. stone
  15. i have one. $40 plus shipping. let me know. stone
  16. i have the plastic replacements for the tube from the heater to the defrost connection. $30 shipped to you for two of them. let me know. stone
  17. if it is an absolute swap, long block for long block and very little needs to be wrestled with the job can be done in one 10 hour day. i have been doing this since 1983 so i have alot of history to do this.where are you located? if you are close to philadelphia pa and really just want a swap i will do it for $500. most likely a yard motor will need 15-20 hours to do it right. stone
  18. the latch part on the body side is adjustable up and down, actually in a full circle. also the door hinges are adjustable in a similar 360 degree area. the most important part is the gaps between the quarter panel and the door. the door should be 7-9mm from the quarter panel, then the door needs to be in line with the fender. the hood can be adjusted to clear the door after that. most of these adjustments can occur with the door panel and rear seat card off to mark all the adjustments points. also put a short piece of 5/16 fuel line on the door latch, inner one so the latch will close completely. take pictures and post your results. stone
  19. i have a considerable collection of un-searched 2000cs parts. i will try and look for the turn switch. you can call me if you would like. 215 five two zero six 718 stone
  20. sorry it took i while to get the info. c.r. is 12.5 the fuel was VP MS100 i looked back at the printout sheet it had no exhaust temps. the room temp for the dyno was 60F and the fuel was on the shop floor. AFR went up to 14.4 at 5340 and then began to fall back to 13.1 at 7250. the only thing we need to do now is begin to document the adjustable cam gear to see if there is more top end pull.
  21. vin looks like 2760723 we need to see under the hood area and the dash board. maybe even show some suspension too. then we can give you a better answer. stone
  22. on this past Friday i spent three hours tuning a 1973 2002 tii to get 144 HP. this motor was built at VAC in philadelphia. the motor has a 316 schrick cam. the pump was rebuilt at H&R fuel inj by Hans. the cone inside is for the up graded cam and used to keep the air fuel ratio below 14.4. the timing is set at 35' and the revlimit is 7300. the 144HP was at the wheels on a mustang dyno. stone
  23. if the car was an automatic, you need to use the lever and pedal that was on the automatic. it is designed to clear the carpet and the entire floor hump. it is the only way to easily have a throttle pedal. stone
