My first tii, a 1974, in Hollywood, 1979, drove back to NY in 1982,

rebuilt the engine, was stolen the next day in NYC!

The 1st two photos are from around 1982, the year I purchased my first "2002", a "69" from a guy in Carmel, CA.

 

The third photo is from 1984, I bought this "73" from a lady down in Los Angeles. By the end of 1985, I took the motor out of the "69", and put it in the "73". My brother installed 40mm dual Dellortos, I installed the Suspension Technics springs and sway-bars, and 15" MSW rims with Fulda tires. We took the Stahl header and the remaining exhaust from the "69" to complete the motor swap.  

 

The fourth and fifth photos are from around 1985-86, the 6th photo was taken in 1987, about the time I got married. The lady next to me is my kids Mom.

Spotted on the webs today. The car in the center is reportedly the hot rod from American Graffiti. But everybody was talking about the 02. Har!

This is a special Christmas greeting I got from my local police department today.

 

It says I was doing 147kmh in a 110kmh zone on 20 Nov 21... Somewhere near Taiping on the major north/south highway.
