Refinished and painted a set of 320is wheels for a short term use

Continuing the cheap vibe ,purchased these to replace 18 year old Kuhmo’s on a recent addition.

Man are these ugly !  But the sticker makes me feel like I am being Patriotic.

Curious as they are 1/4 the price of CN36’s which I have on other cars,

Have been tempted by those Federals to do the same thing (not the patriotic part,)

Anyone care to share any experience they have with them?

I don't give a fird gen, carbretted, alyoominiuhm, tickity boo!... wiff an ole in the boot!

It says Made FOR America, not Made IN America.

Made in Taiwan/China, which is why they're cheap.

More rust repairs!

Overall the floor pan is in pretty good shape. However a couple flanges for the floor plug have some heavy pitting and some parts are rusted away.

Cut out the rust, make a patch panel and weld it in!

Adding the little cut out for the plug and voila!

Couple other spots that needed repairing. Top middle and bottom left part were replaced.

finally changed out the trany fluid in my 4 speed today, i was surprised to see that I've got two 19mm plugs for fill and drain. I used royal purple and it feels way better than it did, drain plug had a lot of metal shavings and sludgy stuff on it when i drained the old stuff. I know I prolly shoulda bought redline but I didn't and got royal purple at autozone. on to the next thing

This social distancing is making me do things to my car that I would have never done before, or even thought I had the ability to do. I guess that's good in a way.

Drove it for the first time.
Still some stuff to do pulling front fenders, modding the distributor advance curve, jetting etc. but it feels good and is quite responsive.

Would love to see some photos after seeing that set of vintage sport seats.
