  3. Running one more production run of the Dust Caps if anyone is interested. Then going to focus on other 3D Printed parts - going to be making some custom console pods for the VDO Gauges, and some other parts. Thank you all!

  6. Don’t boil or put in the microwave-you will literally turn the rubber to mush. If you want to try this method do it with extreme caution. You can use a hair dryer or heat gun carefully and slowly. The heat gun may melt the old rubber and bring some of the oil back the surface. The issue is when they cool they may crack easily as vulcanized rubber was not meant to be reheated to regain its flexibility. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi all! I had the same problem and I had a friend gen up some 3D Printed ones that work great. They are made of high temp filament. He asked if anyone wanted a set and is making them for $25 plus shipping. Thanks all. Below is a picture of the original one on the left and the new, 3D Printed one, on the right. Add about 5mm to clear the newer strut insert top threads.

  13. We shipped out the final set and did some refining on the original with some sanding and acetone wash to bring out the shine. I think they look great and the feedback has been awesome - what a great community!
  14. Good day all! Printing out the final sets for shipment and I wanted to thank the FAQ Community for the incredible support. The first picture is a production batch of the Dust Caps completed on the 3D Printer. Finished printing, yet they need to be finished by sanding and given a bath in acetone to get them shiny and smooth. Second picture is a set with instructions ready for packing up and shipping out. Had to create some packaging from the USPS by adding a layer of foam inside the box and instructions for installation and removal. Again, thank you!
