well... we'll see how much cutting and boxing will need to be done to the trailing arms, but the subframe is definitely going to need to be re-coated when I'm done.

But, considering new hubs from W&N are 250 each, a subframe is 380, and trailing arms 360 each... I feel I'm well on-top!

Reasonable improvement to my grille after a little bit of hammering and soft yanking at the metal. Still not satisfied but it lives to see another day.

Visited the local Midas Muffler shop yesterday, had them re-weld last months repair on the forward muffler mount tab. Hope this repair lasts longer than July's repair. Got out of there for $10 and a cup of coffee. This morning I re-installed the driveshaft center bearing rock guard that's been on the to-do list since the 5 sped conversion a couple years ago.  While I was under there noticed the Guibo was beginning to crack. Need to review if they installed that correctly, seem to remember reading numerous posts on the bolt orientation. Thinking they might not have consulted the FAQ before attaching the driveshaft.

Joystream, congrats and looks to be well deserved, such a beautiful example.  I noticed you had the Quick Jack set up.

Look to work well for the 2002.Are you happy with it and any other thoughts on the system.  My Costco has them on sale for $999. thought that was a pretty good price. Seriously considering them. thx

I'm happy with mine, I have the BL-5000SLX-AC-110

It's not high enough to drop the engine and subframe together (that needs a LOT of space) but I can move around comfortably under the car and turn sideways.

They say portable, I say "portable"  They are pretty heavy, but have little tiny wheels on one end so you can move them around that way.  The picture on the box shows some guy just walking around with a pair under his arms, I'm not doing that.

I would say that at 999 that's a pretty good price for the system. It certainly does all that I need it too. I have a rather small double garage so its perfect for that. It gets the car off the floor nicely with easy access to the driveline. The jacking points are somewhat narrower which maybe a concern but I found another set of slotted blocks that fit in the seam of the frame rails that helps stabilize. All in all a valuable tool, doesn't take up a lot of storeage room either.....hth

And thanks for the kind words....much appreciated.

Mike
