  1. First they took my money saying they have these in stock, then week later they told me its not possible to source. So no refund yet.
  2. +1 I already use these with French cuff shirts. But you need to combine it with the temporary link that comes with your shirt. I've also used it on the tip of my shirt pocket. People ask me, what car is that, "get outta my office" I reply! [emoji41]
  3. That's disappointing from a nation that pioneered automobile. Almost every teenager girl or boy that know in Australia either drive a manual or know how to. Most students learn manual because it's cheaper to buy.
  4. Sure, I'm using Brant keypad immobiliser module. Basically no power behind the dashboard without using a pin code. I need to hot wire a trigger sensor to driver seatbelt. This is part of Brant security. So if someone force you to get out of the car to steal it, the seatbelt triggers the security module and engine will cut of in 3 min unless you re-enter the pin code. There is also option for a dummy pin code in case someone force you to enter it which would also cut off the power in 3 min. Brant security can do heaps more. I'm also combining this with tracking system and 4G sim module that can allow remote command submission using your cell phone. (Start/shut down, limit rev, lock doors, check current speed, check location etc.). Cheers
  5. Sorry you're right. I'm installing keypad and push button start (in cigarette lighter housing) running through Haltech. [emoji6]
  6. Simeon, skip a ghetto pin switch and get a decent keypad [emoji1]
  7. When you have time, list your mods with reference to which car so we know what you used from what year/model car. Also outline your engine build setup. Then this post should go under stickies. Will help a lot of people with their future project planning. Just an idea.
  8. I have this issue but my problem is the mounting tip that's broken off. I was going to buy a cheap propane torch and braze it but the guy that's re-coring my heater core said he can just weld it for me. So you might find a rad shop that could braze or weld this for you at the back of the grill so it wont be visible. Good luck.
  9. Could any of you nice guys take a good quality photo of the sunroof crank handle spring when dismantled and size it for me so I can try to fabricate it. I cant find this spring and already have 5 spare chrome handles without a spring so no use buying a whole crank handle. Pelican Parts has the spring in stock for $42 including shipping to Australia, the spring being $2 only! Cheers
  10. Nader, you need to go through the process of elimination. Grab a 12v bulb and hook it to a 12v battery using the viper switch. Do this outside of the car on your work bench. This will show you if your switch is faulty. If not, then you've got your viper motor wiring wrong. Bypass the internal wiring loom of the car and bench test your motor. A multimeter can do all this without the hassle of bench.
  11. Thanks everyone. I shall update with status report and photos later. Cheers
  12. Purchased an earlier version heater valve which will be refurbished. My heater valve bracket is broken so I am going to fabricate one. I believe the older heater valve has narrower in/outlets. But are there any other adjustments that needs to be done or is this a straight swap? Thanks
  13. Must you have everything that's hard to find? I'll add that to my order. [emoji1]
  14. Nader, these are basically resistors and not hooked up to any kind of ecu. Couldn't you just hook up the wire nominated for 53a in the diagram to 53e and test the movement? The easiest way is to use a multimeter and check the output. In easier term, you would have one cable coming in (positive) and two cables going out, each with different output. So test each with a multimeter using the ohm setting (20k). First find your main positive and connect it to the switch terminal using the diagram (presumably 53). Then use the multimeter and test the other two terminals on the switch by using the switch knob and connect your wires accordingly.
  15. I'm with Resra, Mo you should put some thought on making a complete sticker/decal set. Sets that are available on fleabay are ridiculously priced. At least if I buy it from you, I know its a good quality work. So add me to the list if any!
  16. That's not a problem. I probably missed it on the sold list after checking a few times and I didn't see anyone putting their interest on sunroof crank (e.g interested in ... or PM sent regarding ...).
  17. I've got the fastest 02 in the world. Once I hit 88 mph, you won't see me anymore thanks to the state of the art technology called flux capacitor.
  18. Interested in sunroof crank if it has the W spring intact
  19. Maybe in Adelaide. No one like a repair job any more in Sydney. Just about every rad shop is now switched to replacement work since its now cheaper to buy a Chinese replacement than paying twice the cost for repair. I've rang dozens, some wont do heater core, some wont repair any rad and some asking too much to repair a small leak. Time to move to Adelaide!
