  1. Yes I guess that's where you would need light to illuminate those texts. To be honest I like the earlier chrome plates. For me, it gives more classic look than the 80s looking facia. [emoji6]
  2. Resra I'm interested in valve cover img_0188, could you PM me the shipping price? Cheers
  3. Thanks Mike, I've got 2 & 1 levers and plates are in chrome. Cheers
  4. Thanks John, I cant seem to be able to locate the earlier manual on that link. Would you have a direct link to the source? Cheers
  5. Maybe but the part diagram for 73 Tii has two version, one with lights and one without. (64/7 & 64/8). Cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Yes I used the same pdf, 64/7 has lights but 64/8 doesn't. I was actually going to add lights but didn't know 73 also came with it. Maybe only on US cars. Cheers
  7. Q1. My 73 tii (275xxxx) is listed in german parts catalogue under 71 tii. Email reply from BMW Group: ******************************************************************************* Thank you for your email. The BMW 2002 tii rhd VIN 275xxxx was manufactured on March 12th, 1973 and delivered on March 19th, 1973 to the British Importer BMW London Ltd. We hope this information is helpful for you.Yours sincerely,Julia Oberndörfer ******************************************************************************** Q2. I dont have a bulb or any electrical wiring on my heater control levers. Looking at realoem (car code 2582) or the German catalogue, 64/7 shows bulb wiring but 64/8 doesn't. Was the bulb wiring only installed on US model cars? Cheers
  8. I take it Postage to 97203?
  9. Thanks everyone, I now know I've got good fellowship support. I'll post my questions accordingly. Cheers
  10. Thanks Mike, I didnt want to be a pest and annoy everyone but Ill take photos and list them on my blog. That would solve the whats what issue but I still have to know the fitting priority of each piece. For example, I have no washers or nuts for the two piece dashboard. One of the bolts has aluminium sleeve but the other bolts are missing those. I'm not sure whether the other bolts have sleeves or what sort of washers, if any, I should use (I dont want the car start to rattling in two weeks). Realoem is not helpful either http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=2582-EUR-03-1973-114-BMW-2002tii&diagId=51_3373 This is just a sample. Things like sunroof, door trims, seats and lighting are not hard but dash, under dash, steering column (its in pieces), door glass trims and lock mechanism and etc are dragging me down. Anywhere I can get access to, or download a comprehensive parts & fitting diagram? I don't mind to pay. Cheers
  11. I've bought a few bmw 2002 restoration books but now use them as beer coasters! Are there any programs or online site any of you nice enthusiasts could recommend that has more clear images or diagram so that I can use to visually match parts? Cheers
  12. Mo I only like the 3 round decals but the driver is sitting on the wrong side! [emoji1]
  13. This thread reminds me of all JDM threads where people just post astronomical stats on their cars.
  14. Yes but you're using a flux capacitor Marty.
  15. This is very similar to my setup but not as ghetto as this guy! I've kept the authentic 2002 feel in my build and added some more improvement comparing to his setup. I wouldn't believe the stats printed in that link. 430HP is unrealistic when using Garrett 25 (200-330hp max). I'm running better improved setup using disco potato (Garrett GT28R) and will be more than happy to pull even 300hp after my build is completed.
  16. Thanks for the info. Do you only have parts/info on Blaupunkt radios? I have Becker.
  17. There is no price in the ad. At least through tapatalk which I'm using.
  18. Why not have it painted, then do the rest yourself?
