Bagged 2002, anyone else?

For any fabrication pics/videos?  I'm doing this to a 69 E3 and would love to see them.  I'm curious, if you have an air leak while driving, does the car bottom out or do you have bump-stops for safety.  I asked a guy with a bagged mini truck this at Cars and Coffee and he said he blew an air line once and the rear of the truck laid on the ground.  Had to drive it if the street while scraping the rear.

More pics of the car and work please.  ?

It’s all depend on wheel fitment and tire clearance when it drop all the way down. If there is space around the tire to fender, then you are able to drive at least slowly and turn the steering wheel little bit before it hit the fender.

We highly recommend to perform installation at professional air suspension installer who knows how to install correctly to avoid any air bag or airline rubbing or pinching issue.

….and like most of us, way too many (maybe 30 at last count) I wish I hadn't sold ?

Its hard to tell people how comfortable the ride it could be with air suspension, most people still think it's bouncy just because they never try one. Of course, I am not talking about those (universal fit kit), if you get a real deal one you will know what I am talking about. I have air suspension on all of my cars now. Even on my daily Van. lol

HQ, welcome to the forum. Nice '02.  I'd not ever seen one bagged, and like that you kept all the classic details.  Your van reminds me of those Japanese custom vans.

To those who're dissing his car, didn't your mom teach you that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything?  Seriously, you welcome this guy to our forum with "I just threw up in my mouth a little. . ." Look at his list of cars.  He's one of us, even if you don't like that he's bagged his '02.

that's right. it's the FAQ and my opinion. So you attack me 'cause you don't like my view... I didn't

go after all the 'Likes'. That would be stupid.

.. Anyway my barfing emoji was posted more in jest than hate. It's all I could come up with at the moment

Sure It's nicely done and cool. Love the color.... but the whole slam it'

culture doesn't appeal to me. Can't help it...AND It's all you see on Velocity' these days..

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
