Suggestions for material to use on e21 recaros re upholstery job

ISO opinions about what type of fabric I should use in the recovering of a set of e21 Recaros.  Leather?  Vinyl? Cloth?  Pattern/ fabric.  I redid a set of Recaro specialists which are in my 2002 at the moment with cloth and grey Recaro spectrum cloth.  I like them - but not enough bolster.  So I’m building another set.

Considering the orange spectrum route....have a potential line on some fabric.

Fire away - pics appreciated as well.

I have a pair of E21 Recaros languishing in my basement; I want to do them so they're similar to the 2002 sport seats, with corduroy material in the center section (more comfortable in hot, sticky weather) and vinyl on the bolsters and back.  Then do a rear seat to match.

While I can find vinyl that is a nearly identical match to the original '72-73 caramel material, I've not been able to find any upholstery-grade corduroy either to match or complement the vinyl.  Any thoughts out there?

Mike - contact Stefan at GTS Classics in TX. He might be able to source some material - and make covers.  He found the raw vinyl for my 69 seats from The Veteran Company in Los Angeles.  Try contacting them as well for raw materials.

For the classic look I like perforated centers which have been shown prior. Leather is always so nice and durable but German vinyl works also. Budget plays in this decision of course. Especially if you are matching the rears.

If you are into patterns, I have always wanted to do Pasha but have never had the right car. Not sure about sourcing it.
