Agreed!  I drove my ‘74 to Saturday morning hockey and then picked up the Christmas wreaths.  Best trunk I’ve ever had.  We have had a good extended driving season in New England.  Tom

Lets here it for YOM Mass plates! I don't have a rear picB2002P.thumb.jpg.1842928978cccf4ad9db82de959f8f28.jpg of mine handy, but there is a red and white '74 plate there...

Tar covered floors, meet dry ice...

I wasn't going to remove the tar, because my hammering told me the floors were solid. A little closer inspection revealed a couple small holes in the passenger floor. Before ordering the floor pan I wanted to make sure that was all I needed. Luckily the only additional damage was in the floor plug on the driver side. A little surface rust, but nothing too bad. More details to come in my blog.

Hi Everyone, one of the “kids” at work told me that she had a 3d printer, so I ask if she could print me a part for my antenna.  She took it and ran, she modeled it in solid works, printed it & I had it the next day!

The part came out pretty good, buy definitely needed some work. Over the next couple days, I sanded it, primed it, painted it and clear coated it. I’m pretty happy with the results.

Nice job on the clamp piece. If your antenna is like mine, this was an exact replacement, and has new seals.

I got the vinyl wrap material before the second door panel went back on so decided to wrap it before reinstalling.
Got the tip from a thread here, about peeling off the Mylar ‘chrome’ on the panels and wrapping in chrome vinyl. Also decided to wrap the Bakelite bit in brown carbon (kinda the same, but newer) instead of chrome as the post I was following did.
not concourse perfect, but neither is my car, by far, so really happy with it.

Put the finishing touches on the trunk. Had to adjust the fit of the new plywood panels, added the vinyl to the wheel wells and the panel under the battery. Also added the flexible tabs on the top of the hard board pieces on the sides.

Installed the fuel tank and (thankfully) noticed all the sand from sandblasting and powder coat and blew all that out beforehand. Will be frequently changing fuel filters once the car is running.

I was hoping to get some wiring done this weekend…
