Changed the oil to something with high zinc (Castrol VR) per this thread

Butt dyno says the car warmed up faster and was happier with the fancier oil, but could have been placebo effect or maybe the PO used an oil with the wrong weight. Oil change was probably overdue regardless.

Checked the alignment this weekend as I hit a huge pothole in the Bay Area in May. More positive camber on that side than the other - bent strut, yay! I have an appt at an alignment shop next week who will attempt to bend it back.

I let a friend drive it though, and she did great. She's used to newer supercars and loved the experience. image.thumb.jpeg.2fe12e6a0135149fdffe83c8859e74fa.jpeg

finished all sound proofing, adjusted the brake and clutch pedal. Adjusted the door windows to try to make the car waterproof....and tomorrow she goes to a specialist to make a full leather interior similar to the original blue "plastic". She'll probably stay there for a while, but when she's back I shouldn't be far from completing the project started ...6 years ago!

Second full day of assembly, five hours unwrapping and rewrapping the wiring…installed wiring and the insulation pad. Pedal box and hydraulic lines next…
