Epa Door Decal Facsimile

The EPA sticker on the edge of the door is NLA so I had a facsimile made up to place on my new OEM door.

Decal looks pretty cool, but it is not perforated and doesn't have any VIN or MFG date on it (as my original did not). I faked the perforations with printed circles instead. It's not OEM, but looks good and it's very reflective, as was the original.

I have 12 extras, because of minimum order requirements. I'm offering these(free)to FAQ members.

The first 12 members to PM me with their mailing address will see one in the mail. I expect the PMs will happen today, as this community is huge and active. I will post the closing of this offer as soon as I reach the 12 requests.

Please understand I'm not in the decal business, so I won't be creating more.

Cheers and Merry Christmas.

Sorry Jim, yes you are too late.  I wasn't surprised that it only took 3 hours to give away 12 decals.

One of the suppliers should create this decal, if it's not against the law, copyright, or something.

I'm just happy to have a clean, new decal on my new door.

Cheers,

Paul

It looks very good. Only readers of this thread are likely to realize it's not perforated and lots of them, such as myself, will likely forget that fact!

That was a nice Christmas present!

RE: Uploading file.

I'm not comfortable sharing artwork of something that may have legal restrictions. Other than my personal use and sharing a few copies with friends, I draw the line.

Copyright? Motor Vehicle Laws? FBI? Does the EPA carry guns? :-O

Knowledge would be good. Maybe because it's a 40 year old sticker, nobody cares. Chime in please.

Yea, hate to spread rain but where trouble lurks is in good ole California, would come in very handy to show the DMV you dont need smog, great copy but you wouldnt catch me distributing them, them Feds have long arms. Oh and FYI, Federal Meat plant inspectors carry loaded sidearms, EPA probably pack cruises

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
