Got a couple for ya.

Dont have kids yet, but heres what I could do for ya.

Me on my 14th bday when I got the tii

my entire summers pay for a new nose and tires

16th bday, first day driving her on my own. Went to Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and got to skip school . Also got to do parade laps!

Interesting thread, made me look back in time, and realize that maybe I started something!

 

This was probably around 15 years ago, with Matt behind the wheel:

 

 

Then his BMW obsession started, and this was his second e30, a 482 whp turbo m52 beast:

 

 

Then he got a great deal on a touring, so why not bag it:

 

 

He never thought he would own a cabriolet, but this rare cab was just round the corner from him, so why not add to his collection:

 

 

and finally, he had to get rid of the VW Golf as a daily driver / parts hauler for this:

 

 

No 2002 for him, but the '02 certainly started his passion with BMWs.

Here are my boys. The 7yr old navigator is always ready to go for weekend predawn rides through the coastal range and in fact wakes his old man up to get going most of the time. For now the 1yr old just loves to climb around and pretend drive.

edit: I apologize for going off topic... no kids just a dog.  Heck, she is not even my dog.  She belongs to my girlfriend.  Thus I am way off topic again.  Sorry.  I like this thread.  Around here, pets (and cars for that matter) are like family members.
