Just cut the fenders and go 245's!

I don’t have pig cheeks or I would. Just trying to manage my time and money. I imagine navigating around town and parallel parking would be a dream with those.

Lots of creativity in this thread. Anybody have one as it came out of the showroom?  in 73 preferably.

Bwahahaaaaa!

yes, mostly, but I have been hating on this thread for over 10 years, because Stants are radiator caps

and ride height and wheel size are real words.

I never stretched and poked my stants, but the race car has 100mm flares, and sits at a ride height

of about 5" at the rocker.  But I had to move all the suspension geometry I legally could to

get it to handle at all that low, AND I don't let the suspension move much.

Right now it's on 15x7 (old legal rim) with a 23x10" cantilever bias.

15x10 rims are now legal, so when I drag it out again, I'll try the allowed bias tire on that size.

It's hard to steer in the paddock.

t

stant also makes thermostats

That HAS to be hard to look at on a sunny day!

There's a C6 vette around here that's gold wrapped.

Not quite as stantsed, tho.  Nor the downforts.

t

lacks a certain aesthetic.

That's my plan, 225s up front and 245s in the back hehehe

I'm trying to find some 295's for the rear. The small diameter and large width is tough. They have great historic rally/race tires I may try.

ps - I have 245's on all 4 corners..

Yeha I found a 275 historic race tire I wanted but it's huge, I'm not even sure it'll fit on my car

I took this quick photo on my phone today and I can't stop looking at it.

Shadows and gaps justify the elimination of belt line trim.

First off, great color!  Second off, wheel specs/offset and fitment notes (rolled/pulled/rubbing)?

I'll raise it in the front a bit as the 100l tank is full
Genuine Alpina progressive Springs front & rear
Sachs adjustable uprights front
Rear Spring receptions lowered 10mm with 3 dot rubbers

Rear subframe 5mm raised
With 2°10' camber in the rear i still have to pull the rear a bit more
