Which direction to go with these wheels?

Fellow 02 enthusiasts,

I have a set of 15X7 ET26 MSW basketweaves sitting in my parts stash for years.  I'm finally thinking of restoring them before they possibly go on my Sahara tii or black E30. I'm looking for inputs from the peanut gallery on which color to paint them.   First pic is how the wheels currently look,  (I have the center caps) currently painted a dull silver.  Options are painting them silver, gold, or silver with a black background. Other possible options are painting the spokes black or charcoal. I'm partial to the silver with black background.  I'm totally aware that basketweaves are a bitch to keep clean. Last pic is of 15" MSW basketweaves on a 2002.

Kinda like the silver with black center--keeps the wheels from looking overwhelmingly large on a 2002, and silver is much more period for a 2002 than would be an all black wheel, or even gold centers.

On a sahara car, silver with black insets. For the silver I have found Chevy steel wheel silver to be pretty great! Darn near matches the BMW color of basketweaves and it's readily available.

For a different color 2002, I’d vote for gold, but on Sahara, silver is probably a better choice. Gold would look cool on the E30.

The silver/black would look good on either the Sahara 2002 or Black E30, so if you’re undecided which car to run them on, that seems like the way to go.

I have MSWs black/silver on a Sahara. I like them. Maybe these pictures will help.

I have an extra set of MSWs (that I am hoping to find a shop near Sacramento) to achieve this blended look:

Perhaps because of the black background, I don't find them to be a PITA to keep clean. The BBS baskerweaves are a whole different story.

Good luck, whatever you decide.
