  1. Looking for a set of 4 stock 4.5x13 steel wheels for a roundie. Preferrably with tires that hold air, and local to Bay Area for pickup. Lemmerz or Kronprinz, date codes don't matter. Looking for cheap ones so condition fair to good THX!
  2. Are these still available? If so, do you also have some used alloy wheel lug nuts? Thx.
  3. Those sure are nice looking alloy, but unless you've got Megabucks, to have wheels custom made, roll fenders, add spacers, change studs, whatever else - find, and spend your bread on a set of wheels with the correct dimensions that were made to go on a 2002. So many to choose from, not always easy to find these days, but if you're diligent and patient, you will find something you like...there are a lot of options out there just look at the awesome wheel database on here.
  4. GO GET'M BOYS! Should I ask him if he has any MOMO cloverleaf alloys? LMAO Cuz I want some
  5. Yep a lotta sidewalls look shitty
  6. Maybe Bart Ziegenhagen can buy Roger's tii along with the recent Double 02 acquisition when the right time comes! ✌️
  7. Jesus Christ people take this F'r to court! So many people being F'd in the ass, get together! You can't wait around and hope your wheels you paid for are going to show up someday.
  8. I thought all squaretails that were not a 2002, 2002tii or a Turbo were 1502's but i guess if it's a '75 it could be a 1602. I can't tell from the photos which it is. Rastaman Vibrations yay-ahh POSITIVE
  9. Just gotta find the right wheel shop to do the work. Paint Satin Black and machine 'em. Then Satin Clear Coat to protect the machined surfaces from the elements Probably not many places out there these days that would do that but there's gotta be somewhere
  10. Droppin' off my son to his first day of 1st grade in 2011
  11. Some pics I found of Bob and his family and friends with a Verona 1502. Gonna guess these are circa '76-'77 BMW = Bob Marley and the Wailers !!!
  12. Don't know the dude - I've bought stuff from him online, always OEM BMW stuff that was hard to find elsewhere at the time. Also, I like to support local small business owners when I can do it/afford it. He's offered some more rare stuff for sale (probs on here in the For Sale forum) and when I suggested a slightly lower offer, he straight out rejected them, so he won't wheel and deal, his price is right! LOL
  13. That's a nice looking tire for the price! Particularly with the gold centered mesh wheels on a Sahara car - keep up the good taste, brother!
  14. I say go for it - then paint two and put 'em on one side for a while on one of your cars. Down the road you might be able to find one more, or another set of 3 so you have two spares, to even everything out. I bet they'd look damn good on either car. -Klaus Cosmicwheels1972.pdf
  15. Yes, if you want the original machined look. That's how my Cosmic Mk II's are for one of my other cars. I suppose you could just paint black, mask off the black, then paint the surfaced that would be machined in the usual silver/aluminum wheel paint and give it a few shots of satin clear coat
  16. Golly gee willickers, Wally, I didn't know that! ? -The Beav
  17. Carlos, have you thought about getting your Cosmic Mk I wheels back to the original black & machined finish?
  18. They look cool, I've seen them on multiple models. You'd probably want to fashion some sort of center cap though, unless they come with them - Roundel wheel emblems come in lots of different diameters and can be trimmed to fit if you're into that kind of a project. Make sure the offset is close, you might need spacers although these look deeper set than most I've seen
  19. Only 127 cars older than mine! Wish I had one of these Hoffman window stickers!
  20. All you guys gotta take this D-bag to small claims court. You gotta pay up front to file but maybe file something else to request sanctions? Of course, he probably won't have the money to pay anyone back - another conundrum. Anyone know an attorney that can help on the side for cheap? This is f'n ridiculous
  21. I'd just get some sturdy vacuum hose, reinforced or not, with the correct dimensions so you don't have to worry about different connectors and all that crap. Have some extra on hand if you need to change it every few years? I am assuming it's NLA thru BMW Classic?
  22. OK, it seems like there is no definitive answer. I don't believe the "Fritz had too many on his lunch break" and the "backwards day" stuff. Thanks!
