That looks gorgeous, money well spent.  Is that a Kooglewerks gauge console ? What gauges do you have ?

On my want list, along with Recaros ?. Oh and I want that steering wheel, but in leather I think.

Serious, great interior well done.

Yes, it's a Koogleworks gauge panel.  The rest of the console is stock.  I added VDO gauges, but I can't remember which series ?   I've had the car for 10 months now.  Here are the "before" photos of the interior when I bought it:

Chamonix ‘73

Lower portion of the rear panel has been replaced.

Next time I get a chance I’m going to try a spot welder to attach the floor pan to the rear panel. If it doesn’t work out I’ll plug weld the two together.

I welded in the rib that divides the right and left halves of the trunk.

I also mounted The trunk lid. I wanted to be sure that it fit well. There’s an inconsistent overhang at the back corners . I think I see some inconsistencies between the corners of the lid; perhaps the lip is bent. The gap along the sides feels reasonably consistent and balanced side to side. I’ll make some templates to compare things and go from there.

Very nice looking Recaro’s! How much did you spend on them ? How much for the adapters?

Haha. Oh yee of little faith. It’s all in the prep work :) This storage tote is the winner for the radiator and just fits under tow hooks. Not a drop hit the garage floor. For the block I used a special black roasting pan ( love you mom! Sorry!! ) It clears the steering linkage. Shout out to my Samsung TV box for lending a hand and being a splash barrier so my frame rail stays dry. Mop stayed in closet. Phewww!

There’s the wiring plan for anyone wanting to copy

Ha! I was going to ask you for all that on the other thread.

I got them from recaroseatsforsale on Facebook.  He's a US expat in Thailand who refurbishes them.  His prices are very reasonable.  The seats, rear seat covers and shipping were in the $1,800 range.  Shipping is 8-11 weeks after completion.  I caught him just as he was completing a brown set, so I got lucky with timing.  I'm not sure how often he does brown.

The adapters are from Aardvark.

I just installed the rear covers yesterday.  I might need a tetanus shot after that exercise. ?  Those little points are sharp!  Sorry for the crappy iPhone picture.
