What did you do to your 2002 today !

And a bunch of little shit:

- Determined my squirter prob was the squirters not the pump or pipes. Just crudded up and blocked... but new ones are $23 each so maybe I will try my tiniest drill bit first ?

- Turned on my wipers in an unexpected but massive downpour last week and the first swipe back sent the pass side into 540 traffic never to be seen again. Fu$£*#ck!!!!  But so much rain had to run them. Very sad next day I realized the pass wiper arm cut a groove in windshield!!! Always something ?

- Added another “stop” on my seat belt pass side so latch doesn’t fall to floor. My daughter will be thrilled!!

- Removed under panels in prep to remove cluster and fix wonky speedo and bad ground

- But the best is for last!! I have blathered on several times before about how sensitive the carb mix screw on my ‘75 is. I read about a redneck/British? technique of putting a cup of water on air cleaner while tweaking the mix screw...fully warmed up of course

I watched for the calmest “water” with a good idle and then went for a drive. Minor tweak to what I had but holy hell what a difference. She was ready to roar in every gear and I raced a Carrera 911 who politely gave me a thumbs up and then “disappeared” ??

Got up at 5 for a 2 hr drive to Seattle to make sure I was in time for a picker ‘s paradise.  A real honey hole for O2 enthusiasts, unbelievable stash of parts. I wish I had brought more cash.

.thanks James for getting this organized, great job

Worked on the '68 last night. Started cutting/fitting/welding the arch parts that will eventually get hung back on the '68. I also began welding the holes left over from removing the quarter/arch/partial rocker.

I'm curious too.  What did you buy?  I like to hear good stories of good deals and rare parts.

So cool.   I've never seen one of those.  I've seen plenty of stick-ons but none illuminated.   I have a magnetic CDN for when I'm abroad.?

Well lets just say I exceeded my daily  limit for brining them back ....had to make a side trip to my rec proper to drop off my parts.

Euro signals, roundels and few pieces to finish off the build, an this. Pretty cool I thought.IMG_1204.JPG.b2682e6fc78513428fd55713a4db7577.JPG

I was gonna call you if you wanted to go down but decided late last night.
