  1. Painted the core supports satin black with a brush. OCD got the best of me and did a second coat. Tidy up the headlight wires and cleaned all the connections. Plan to redo a couple under dash wires to stereo also today and get the console back together.
  2. I can't find one e30 M3, this guy finds three Wow, so cool for real
  3. Looking for the seat brackets that are welded to the floor for both front seats. P/O removed both to install e36 seats and I would like to finally install my Recaros.
  4. The seams are filled in by the taillights. Is that intentional ? Car is looking good . Well done
  5. Appear to be cracks by the bolt head. If one is doing it they all are.
  6. That wire on the steering wheel looks a bit suspect. The bare wire could be grounding out your connection. Would start there. Maybe new horn plunger or some new wire and some shrink wrap at the plunger.
  7. That's good to know, thanks. I liked the setup that was on a BaT 02 last week . He had the Kooglewerks DCOE elbows and ITG filter but it's a bit pricey at almost $600. for an air filter set up. My Ram Air foam filters air getting tired and they tend to drop down the elbow and cut off the air flow. ITG looks to be one of the better filters will have to check my options. I could be okay with just a blank ITG backing plate also.
  8. Inspired by a bunch of the work posted lately I got off my butt and wrapped up some small things. Tore apart my console looking for a rattle I had last Summer. Nothing obvious so far. Will dive in deeper. Rebuilt my headlight adjusters with the IE kit. Quick coat of gloss black paint also. Cleaned up the engine compartment and steel wooled the relays, just some little stuff. I've been looking for a Vintage license plate bracket with no luck, so I bought this for now. To Due List is better air filter set up for the DCOE's, looking at ITG filter and finally getting my Recaro's mounted.
  9. I have H&R springs and mine would move on the pad. I just used some stock flat metal and a bolt. Has work ever since. That's a Ireland pad.
  10. The Man could wheel a car. RIP
  11. Another vote for Aardvark Racing. I purchased some very small parts for Recaros and they refunded some of the shipping charges because parts were so small. Who does that. Great customer service.
  12. I purchased from these guys a couple of times with good luck. Did four 2002 doors with the clip and the small cone piece with great results. Also a bunch for my e39's. https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/category-s/757.htm
  13. Buy it if you feel the price is fair. Looks to be a nice car. Life is short.
  14. Great thread, impressive and inspiring. Threads like this get me motivated to get in the garage during Michigan winter months. Well done
  15. I would sand/media blast it. I'm fortunate to have a facility by me that will rent their blast cabinets for $17. an hour.
  16. Matching luggage would of got it sold .☺️
  17. No disrespect but for the most part bottle caps do nothing for me. I do like the three piece version though. Always said I build my cars for me. I don't care what other people think. If you like them, that's all that matters ,get them. I don't like to yuk on someone else's yum.
  18. Agree, leave the thread it's fine. I don't quite understand allll the outrage. Very nice 02 GLWS. If your serious on selling you need a good for sale ad in the classified section. Asking price $$ what's been done to it in your ownership. You can link the BaT sale. I wouldn't worry about what you paid for it. It's been a couple of years and the BaT price is somewhat irrelevant at this point. Car should do much better. If not sure what it's worth, just ask here. You can see people are more than happy to give their opinion. BaT would bring the most money.
  19. Agreed, for glass out paint job appears nothing underneath was cleaned or prepped . I would want to see in person before purchase. I have a feeling he's pretty proud of his work. Good Luck with this.
  20. Same as Mike's experience. Sand fit, sand fit. Joys of a 50 year old car.
