  1. Also, BMW used the same canister on everything until 79, so 320i, 530i, bavaria, 3.0si etc. you can broaden your search. Art

    Vintage race car build.
  5. Ha! Thanks Steve. I stand corrected. Learn something new everyday? Art
  6. Sorry, but I have to disagree. The rings for early cars with deep dish grills were polished and thicker on one side to fill the deeper grill void. The shallow grill cars, mid 72-73 were simple polished/chrome rings. The plastic grill rings were the same as the shallow grills, but as you said, were black. Art

  9. Didn’t say I had any. Just asked what you wanted
  10. Hey, There are at least three different 1600 emblems. Very early stylized above the chrome strip that runs between the tail lights, later, next to small Roundel above chrome strip and latest next to larger Roundel below the chrome strip. Which one do you seek?
  11. Right and left rear side marker lights, very nice shape, $85 shipped, conus. Right and left rear tail panel reflectors, $55 shipped, conus. SOLD! Four, new, belt trim seam covers, $55 shipped conus. Have a few decent used seam covers. Not perfect, but may be better than none! Price varies by cond. If you have interest in any of this please PM me. Thanks!
  12. Don’t forget the elusive 121T head! This one cast at midnight Dec 32nd in the apocalypse year of 79, thus no month code???
  13. The plug is original, white plastic, pretty simple. You could probably find something that would fit and just cover it with the stripe material.
  14. This is the tool roll that I have. I saw one on eBay recently that claimed it was turbo specific for $1100??, was a hodgepodge of incorrect wrenches and screwdrivers. The thread is a 14x1.5 which is an odd thread, pretty fine. Most of the newer eyes are a coarse thread so they are easier to start and take less time to thread in. i did not thread it in all the way for the pic. Goes in about another inch or so. I think the less length sticking out is better as you don’t have quite as long a lever arm to bend and damage the spoiler/bracket.
  15. Are you talking about the hood rods? Or the trunk rods? Or something else?
