Long time no updates.
I eventually had the car shipped to Austin where Terry Sayther's got to work on it. Got it all up and running and I'm slowly, very slowly working on getting the rest finished up.
Finally got some hubcentric wheels put on last week (Corsa Velocita) and AC compressor and condenser in. Photos coming soon. Next up Restomod AC.
Haha, yeah not chopped. Maybe next one.
Yes, they are BMP side skirts. They aren't perfect, but they are pretty close. Ideally I would have cut and shortened them slightly. I may still do it, but it's really far down on my list of things to do.
I've posted a few shots of my car before, but I've finally got it up and running now. Found myself in an empty parking garage the other day and couldn't resist taking a picture...
These are hard to come by these days. A must have if you are doing an M20 swap, don't want to widen your transmission tunnel, and DO want to use your oem speedo.
Here is how I tackled it. Ideally it would be tied into a cage, but I didn't want a cage in my daily driver...
One more note, if I did it again, I would make the shock mount taller so I could get more travel out of my coilovers. As it sits now they are dialed almost all the way down.
