Hey man did you get the nylon fiber kit? Sounds more durable than the rayon. Black or Charcoal Grey? What shade was original @mike , @Conserv

Mine looks somewhere in between both so maybe it was Black with 45.43 years of age added. How did you prep the surface before applying the new stuff? Hand sand?

Charcoal gray, I used Rayon I think.

You have to start with a clean surface. I used a dye grinder on the tight hard to reach spots and a variance of tools , strippers and lots of sanding to get the ol shit off. Like anything,  do the prep work right .....it will get you great results.
