When got car on road after rebuild just glued cheap mirror to windshield. Fell off in recent hot spell

After getting courage to cut headliner I added proper mirror!!

Kudos to local pal Brett Cooper (Mr strut bearing 3D print cover) for helping with install!!

Now back to my 86 XJ6 project... traitor!! ??

Drove it. Treated the local Cars & Coffee crowd to an actual classic. Never surprising how many people will walk past an "invisible" Corvette, Mustang or (insert name) to check out a 2002.

To me, this picture just tells it all! A 2002 in every garage on stands in the fall, leaves blowing all into the garage

Love it!!!!

'73 Sahara down off jack stands for first time since last October! Yesterday I finished up the differential seals and re-installed it, hooked up a new IE exhaust, and lowered it down. This morning after troubleshooting the timing for like 3 hours, (figured out I had it 180 degrees off :/), got her running and test driving, then oil change. This car runs great! It's so interesting how different it is to my '76 with IE stage 1 springs, smaller 320is steering wheel, bigger sway bars, and camber plates. The '73 with it's original everything is so easy to steer and drive. Engine is tight, and it's running all right. Woo hoo!

I finally have my 68 running and on the road after 20 years, 19 of it in my nephews garage, I bought from him about a year ago in pieces. Still have a few problems to sort out and cosmetics but at least I can drive it, Hopefully to alignment shop this week. Not at all stock anymore. This thing hauls ass and handles like a go kart so I'm pretty happy so far, Big thanks to everyone on this board, It's helped a lot

New old steering wheel... needs a little bit of touching up but sooo much better than the busted stock one I bad before. That thing was cracked everywhere.

Going to 3d print the horn button, for fun ?

That wheel could look awesome with blue and red stitching .....

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
