  1. Filled the gas tank & adjusted valves = ready to race oncoming weekend.
  2. For those diy minded: i.d. 17.0 mm (+0.1). o.d.25.0 mm. h= 11.5 mm.
  3. That's why you do it in close proximity of neighbors pool.
  4. Finshed fixing my Heater franken-box. A couple dozen rivets, al-sheet, sikaflex, valve bracket fabbed, some paint, new insulations to flaps + other places, cables trimmed etc. Huh! Wouldn't want to do it again anytime soon.
  5. I made thick plywood washers. Long bolt thru to keep em tight in place. Worked perfectly.

  11. Yes you can change it to a non limited version or if feeling lazy just glue it. Someone will post part# shortly. I'd still checked that it has correct height - there are different caps.
  12. As far as i can remember it's o-ring sealed and (so) little wiggle is there.
  13. Yeah. Happend to me as well... car was Texas... ready to be shipped... can't be accessed at terminal cause jadda jadda. Asked about those Colorado plates... radio silence. LOL but was fun while it lasted.

  15. Took apart my heater box. Tested core to 1.3 bar so it wasn't cause to leakage... but hose between valve & core was brittle and hardened so that has to be it. While cleaning parts up it became very real that i need new material to seal flaps. Quest for seal begun but can't really find what suits. And old article http://www.bmw2002faq.com/content/view/73/32/ was nowhere to be found. Bugger. Any ideas to seal flaps?
  16. Maybe a long shot but check that front cross member is tightly bolted to chassis.
  17. Insert in and then full. Not much required.
  18. Picture of it would be nice. Rest of oil pump: pick up part - you take it off and it’s safe?
  19. By looking the pic of your speedo your problem may be cured as in one recent topics. This: Oh and btw nice job!
  20. Got reinforcements for diff welded. Also rear subframe needed some love in this regard.
