  1. Yes they were paintend from the factory. Hood & boot lid hinges, supports was painted.
  2. Both ways could be winner or both could go wrong. You need known good used or experienced builder. Determine budget, prepare to double it and start searching. Your location might help folks to guide you to right directions.
  3. Think of it like you have enough torq (hp) to lit the rears at will (again depends you tyres, suspension etc.). 1st gear you have, say, 0,5 bar - you can floor it. 2nd gives 0,8 bar - again you can floor it, 3rd - 1,2 bar -wot and so on. Pretty good in circuit racing.
  4. Boost by gear is very good feature indeed. Only boost by speed is better.
  5. I once put such a system on 2.0 std engine and it was fine. You can fiddle with AFM flap tension spring & FPR if needs be.
  6. Curb weight is heavier so i think some of it is due the chassis. There is lot more metal behind b-pillars than sedans.
  7. You changed 02 diff cover but can’t remember if it was ls or open? Well, cover off like Rick said.
  8. A friend told me about funnel web spiders. Now those are nasty little bugges.
  9. I think you’re onto something. Havu u performed an autopsy yet? They might metapolize them to tiny coil springs.
  10. Ah toadstool forrests everywhere.
  11. How's this? Confirm settings: negative ground, +12V Yellow lead - fused +12V Ground - radio body
  12. What the sticker on top says? Here is my Essen if it helps:
  13. Double ”clanks” makes me think chain tensioner…
  14. Rod bearing would be my guess. Clutch engagement does not change the noise?
  15. Yes, pressure is too low. I’ll bet flow rate is under specs too. All filters good? No nicks in delivery line? Then new pump.
  16. I think i had/have 185/55 x 14 on 6.5x14 BBS rims. Looks a bit too tiny imo but handling is good. Speedo shows wrong (more than usually).
  17. I’d aim for squish clearence of about 0.8 - 1.0 mm. Piston to TDC and do the math.
  18. Yes can’t see why not. Lines 1 to 3 connected to same chamber (front piston) and lines 4 & 5 are joined in same chamber (rear piston). Front chamber has valve for rear circuit so it has to be used for that unless you want to modify oe system to something else.
  19. And what brake fluid you might spill over to engine bay just flush/rinse with lots and lots of cold water. She’ll be alright.
