  1. Maybe just the speedo was changed to an o2 unit.....I thought 1602s had shorter gears in the diff
  2. Do you ship? Are the bbs wheels you have for 100 the gold weaves? Cuz I'll take them if you do shipping
  3. I think the article sucked. A true gearhead enjoys wrenching, fabricating, and driving.
  4. That's so cool! I got a Cnc plasma at work. Would you be willing to share the file? Maybe for a price?
  5. Buy it before a certain guy in Denver buys it, hacks it to bits, and tries to sell each and every last chunk for obscene money
  6. I got my roundie tail panel from blunt last year for $435
  7. You can also email me @ joemaule@yahoo.com
  8. I'll take the rear set. Pm sent
  9. E30 door brakes work great if you cut and re drill the 5mm hole. Almost same as new ones but way cheaper
  10. The kidney section and bumper holes (us models) along with mounting tabs are different . Kidney holes on early cars are taller and more narrow
  11. While working under my car on jack stands I noticed that if try to rotate the rear wheels in opposite directions there is some slop before the the LSD grabs (about 4deg of rotation) when this happens it makes a clunk sound. Now there is basically no slop in the ring and pinion is this slop/clunk to be expected with a lsd? how much rotation should there be before the clutches grab?
  12. Would you be willing to ship?
  13. Found these on eBay....seems to be a pretty good deal http://bit.ly/1lBYzzZ
  14. If you're willing to drop some coin on shipping, search ebay uk and ebay de. There are quite a few wheels in 15x7 et25
  15. Yeah I am a big fan of the gt8 seats also. I actually got a quote from corbeau USA for the gt8 it was like 500each and 200 for shipping (both seats)
  16. I went with corbeau gt4 seats. Had to special order them from the uk. They hold you in very well
  17. Seriously man? This isn't the tv show "overhaulin"! You should be happy that you've got the car. A lot of us would love to own a touring tii. Now save your money and fix it up one piece at time....like the rest of us normal people. If you are going to ask for money to fix up a classic car, then you don't deserve to own one. For the most part ppl on this forum are pretty helpful. I bet if you put up a wanted add for specific parts you could probably get some very good deals
  18. I admire how calm you are. If I had purchased that car, I would probably currently be in jail for doing unspeakable things to the scumbag nob who sold that pile of rust and foam. good luck on you next build.
  19. Not finished, but it's back on the road
