Wheels for sale!

I like to find Mahle Rims #36111112755 or PFS Rims 36111114231 (bottle top) 5x13. They are very rare. I just need couple of them because I already have three. Were used in BMW 2002 Turbo models from 74-76.

I like to know is there are any body which may have some or know where I can find those rims.

Recent WTB ad:

http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/159845-1974-2002-alloy-wheels/

There were three different widths of this style rim offered: 5", 5.5", and 6". Respectively, they were intended for (a.) all '74-'76 2002s; (b.) early e21 cars; and (c.) the factory turbo of '74-'75.

If you want to know more, you might read postings #14 and 23 of the following thread.

http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/106681-wtb-bottle-tops-13x55-wheels-set/?hl=+mahle%20+fps%20+turbo

You'll find the thread prior to #14 confusing because there is conflicting and wrong information in there!

There is currently a set of the 5" rims on the German forum:

I don't know the pricing but the 5" rims seem to be trading in the range of $750-$1,000 for a set of 4 in good (not perfect) condition. A set was listed on eBay for a long time at $1,000 and it disappeared finally. I don't know if he got his $1,000 or not. The 6" bona fide turbo rims are much rarer: expect to spend $2,500, possibly more, for a set.

I recently suggested another forum member who was searching for the 5" version contact Strictly German, a salvage yard in Braselton, Georgia. As recently as 3 years ago, he had more than a dozen, but on my last visit -- maybe 6 months ago -- I believe he was down to 1 or 2.

Good luck,

Steve
