  1. Yeah, that's the one I have. I mounted it low, but it does a great job. Many people have asked if it's original.
  2. Pictures would be nice. I believe I have that model (#38). Although it's modern, it looks correct. I love it!
  3. Check the distance from your fan to radiator. An 8mm lift at the diff computes to a more severe angle at the fan. You need 8-10mm of clearance from fan to radiator top tank edge, otherwise you could damage your fan or rad, especially on braking.
  4. It's all about guibo distortion, as Toby says. A simple alignment strategy is to connect the guibo and disconnect the CSB and support (the CSB) by hand. You can see and feel when the guibo is aligned and un-distorted. You can then re-attach the CSB in the correct position. You don't have to worry about the rear section of the dshaft. That's what ujoints are for. A note. I learned that if the driveline has been altered that the adjustments should be made from front to back when re-assembling. Engine - transmission - CSB - differential.
  5. Just so you know. OEM fenders are a much better fit. Bodymen will tell you they are worth the cost.
  6. Yeah well, certainly not sprayed properly like yours, but thanks. Nice trick inverting the gun. I'll watch for pictures.
  7. Nicely done! Bottom looks great. Would love to see a picture with all the suspension etc installed. Keep up the good work.
  8. @SydneyTii From a guy who has made a lot of gaskets, make 2 or 3 sets. Just in case of mistakes or rips. Another tip: buy a set of leather hole punches. A little encouragement...I was disappointed in OEM tii gas tank seals tearing at the bolt holes, so I bought some Nytrile locally and made my own. No leaks or smell in the trunk. Have fun!
  9. Do you have remnants of previous gaskets? DIY? Looks like a fun job with hole punches and cuticle scissors.
  10. So it might be the delivery valves. I think they can be resurrected.
  11. Call Robert at Jerry Fairchild Enterprises. Ask his advice on pressure valve restoration or replacement. They are only check valves after all. Are you sure it's not stuck delivery valves? He can rebuild and calibrate your pump ( to 500psi injectors ) as well. Last I paid was $800. and experienced quick turnaround. He does not supply re-plated hardware, although. Only a thorough and professional rebuild.
  12. 45psi will not likely damage anything or cause poor running. 90psi could cause pump seals to leak. Low pump pressure on the other hand could limit fuel flow to injectors. I would revisit all other adjustments, throttle, air, and ignition. Make sure all air hoses and seals are intact. Follow the pump PDF to adjust linkages from pedal to throttle body. Adjust your timing to be all-in around 3k rpms. Intermediate shaft, air/fuel screw and idle screw are the final adjustments which should dial-out rough running. An AFR also makes this step more scientific than adjusting by "feel".
  13. Another alternative: Search:. Tii linkage gauge. DIY. Very inexpensive using 8mm cups from Centerline Alfa.
  14. They might just sell the KFish rod, but likely all your sockets are worn.
  15. JF Pro http://www.probimmer.com/Services.php?Type=services&Categoryidx=49 Go to KF service.
  16. This was not an issue for me and OEM seals. To me this is unacceptable and subject to immediate refund. Pay the price and go OEM. Not worth the aggravation and imperfection. My $.02.
  17. True. I guess a better explanation would be that when you release the throttle more air than fuel is temporarily flowing through the system causing the huge spike to lean ratio.
  18. @Slavsplease explain the euro 3.45 diff . I have converted to this LSD and find the combo 2L x 4speed x 3.45 diff x 185/70 tires perfect for my driving. What am I missing? BTW, my speedo is spot on to GPS. First time it has ever been accurate.
  19. That's the first complaints I've heard about 5speed conversion. I've never really had issue with my 4speed. Less now. Thanks @Slavs
  20. How about recalibrating the sensor? Well, you could always check the plugs after a good run. If they are coffee colored and not too damp you are probably running fine. I tend to up the air slightly for leaner hwy @ 14-14.5. Buy a new sensor and let us know how easily it installs. I expect to kill one someday and your experience would be appreciated. AFAIK, lean (19) off-throttle is simply the lack of fuel from the Kfish. No biggee.
  21. Use flare nut wrenches to loosen and tighten lines. Regular open end wrenches will often damage the nuts. Seriously.
  22. You must wait longer for better bond. More tackiness.
