  1. Go to your local auto parts store and buy a broadway mirror. These cost about $15 and attatch directly to your rearview mirror. Work great, especially with the 02s large "greenhouse" windows. I have these in both my cars and they make changing lanes much easier since I dont have to turn my head to look at my passenger side mirror. I just glance over at my rearview and I can see all around me. Only problem is parking, since I usually cant see the curb. Besides, passenger 02 mirrors are kinda expensive. This is a cheap alternative that works. David
  2. Check the hazard switch. For some reason the wiring from the turn signals run through the hazard switch. When My hazard switch busted a while back my turn signals didnt work. Drove me nuts trying to figure it out. Bought a used switch from 2002ad for $8 and that solved the problem. Good luck. David
  3. Hey, Daniel. I thought you were going with the GSX-R throttle body setup. David

  6. I believe its part of the emission control system.
  7. I would love to drop a Honda F20c in my 02. 240hp from 2 liters is insane. Some one posted a video a while back of an E36 with an F20c. It was on one of those Japanese JDM Option videos. A rebuilt S14 can be steep in price. Ive seen F20s on ebay for 2-4000, with harnesses and trannies.
  8. Can you take any vehicle? My 02 is out of action for a while.
  9. David, I picked up a manifold at a local junkyard a while back. It is a "peanut" style. When I purchased my 38 Weber I placed it on the manifold and both throttle butterflies opened with ease. I am going to open up the hole because it is actually to small and I want better airflow. If your manifold has the two holes instead, it might work that way. But remember it was designed for a 32 Solex and not for a 38 Weber. Enlarging the holes might not be nessasary. Most people here say It will need to be enlarged. Im using my Dremel with sanding wheels. Its taking longer than I thought bit I know Im saving money. Good Luck. David
  10. I believe Ireland sells them........... www.bmw 2002.com
  11. How much did you pay for it? According to their web site it now cost $280.
  12. Check the switch behind the brake booster in your engine bay. See if its suck or moving freely. This switch controls the brake lights and I think is inexpensive if it is broken. You can also adjust it back and forth alittle to see if thats the problem. David
  13. One of my sisters old friends is a total gold digger. When I met her at a party a few years ago I told her I had a BMW 2002 and we spent hours partying together. Later that night I told her I would give her a ride home and she flipped out when she saw my 02. She called me a liar and called my car a POS. I told her my car WAS a BMW 2002 as I pointed at the trunk roundel and 2002 badge. I made her look like an idiot. It made my day!
