  4. That makes sense... If you have an internally regulated alternator you can simply unplug the voltage regulator. KC
  5. Welcome to the forum! As to your question: Nope, Remove the wheels and pull off the brake drums, the brakes will be exposed for servicing/replacement. If the drums have been on there for a while you may need to tap them with a mallet to get them free. kc
  6. Many years ago I cleaned mine out with compressed air, gas and a little bit of brake clean to finish them off and repacked them with synthetic wheel bearing grease. Drove the car for years with no problems. I packed the shit out of them... KC

  10. Thanks guys and gals! When I bought my verona tii it had a bunch of clocks in the trunk, I sold the two spare tii clocks and was left with this one and another that I think is from the dash of a e12...
  11. Have you added additional ground wires to your cluster yet? If not this will usually help. Here is a link with a good pic on where to add the new ground wire. KC http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,323809/highlight,cluster+ground/
  12. The pics in TonyHavana's post about the Ti reminded me of a clock that I had lying around for a long time.... It was in one of my the 02's around 1994 or so. Is this a ti clock? It is the same diameter as a tii clock but has 3 additional spring steel clips around its body. Thanks, KC
  13. Got any pictures? Not sure I completely understand what you are explaining. Is this the ball on the regulating lever on the side of the pump or one on the intermediate shaft from the throttle body? KC
  14. Looks great Jim, but just reading this post makes me thirsty. Nothing like a good waxing mixed with sweat! For those not in the area, it was brutally humid today in DC. KC
  15. Hey Dave, Next time your up in my area drop by. I have a few beat-up grills you can scavenge one off... KC edit... forgot to mention that Plastidip looks pretty decent on grills if you paint them up after removing the metal covers.
  16. You are correct see picture below. KC

  18. Do you have the default map loaded? My tii ran pretty well on the default map right from the get go. KC
  19. Thanks for the info guys! As always its Sherman to the rescue. Paul and Al, the wheel is for sale but I did not want to put it up in the for sale section until my crazy schedule dies down a bit... I have a bunch of parts to sell at the moment but I just haven't found the time. Jim, I do not have any shallow grills. I've been on the lookout for a top quality set for my tii for a few years. KC
  20. I've been digging through the shed to get rid of some stuff and forgot this was in there... Anyone familiar with this brand? Thanks, KC
