  11. My opinion: This car is fucking awesome... Sure it's not a real ti but that's just a metal badge stuck on with two rubber keepers... Want to make it back into a standard 2002 go ahead and take two minutes to pop the trunk and install a different badge. Having driven this car I can say it is scary fast. Paul W. built this car right, read back into the FAQ archives and you will likely find some details. The book of receipts that accompanies the car is incredible, like Jonathan says is pretty mind blowing and that does not take into account the additional mods that were added after he bought it, GTS seats, NOS door panels, new carpets set, rebuilt 3.45 LSD... It was also stored indoors in a parking garage (and under a car cover) since it was restored. Disclosure: Jonathan M. (current owner) and Paul W. (previous owner and builder) are people I consider good friends... If I had the cash... You're damn right I would buy this car!
  12. Not that I know of... But that doesn't mean much at all. I did it myself with some help from friends. KC
  13. Do you know which Europa II you have? There are two different configurations. One that uses and external becker "metal box" amplifier and the other that is more similar to modern stereos with a built in amp. I'm making an assumption here, but it should work using the line level inputs on the amp if your Europa has the built in amp. If it does not have the built in amp you MAY be able to wire up some RCA cables to the outputs of the head unit and connect them to your amp. I have a Becker Europa with the metal box amp in my stash but have never gotten around to testing it... I do know that it is very similar to the Europa II that uses the external amp. In regard to the Ipod input link that Chris posted. I've had a few drinks so I may be wrong, but the DIN connector for both Becker and Blaupunkt head units is a 5 pin DIN connector (240 degrees) and not the 6 pin that they are discussing. Maybe you can remove the extra pin and it fits but maybe not. Hope my blathering is helpful. KC
  14. JGM, Give me a buzz tomorrow, I'm back in the hood. Dennis, I'm a bit biased as Mark Raspi is a friend of mine but he is a true car nut and damn fine mechanic. If you want to get the details give me a call at work or on the mobile. KC
  15. Yes you will need a small spacer in the front to clear the calipers and bring the rubber a little further away from the strut tube. I run some thin cheapo spacers. KC
  16. Yeah, I'm with Paul.... The f-Bomb sticks very nicely and the steering is very light. KC
  17. VW Corrado wheels... They have a more convex face vs. the flat face of the bmw versions. I run them on my car cause they are way cheaper then euro weaves. KC
  18. I will be parting a 73 real soon. Do you need it right away? Shoot me an email through the faq. KC
